The Prodigy RF brake controller # TK94FR installs on the trailer and the handheld unit rides with you in the cab of your Porsche Cayenne. I have included a link to the installation instructions to the right and a video showing a typical installation.
The biggest issue that customer have with the RF is getting it to pair with the handheld unit. But if you do have troubles there are some tricks that you can try to get it to work properly.
First, if you are having trouble pairing and the handheld unit does not display what the instructions say should be displayed, all you have to do is just keep going through the installation steps.
If that does not work then it is possible that on a vehicle with LED tail lights that you will need to use an adapter, # 20142.
And if that does not work then you can use electrical tape to tape off the pin in the 5 oclock position on the back of the RF unit (where the trailer plugs into the RF).
And if that does not work you can park another vehicle with a functioning 7-Way directly next to the Cayenne. Then pair the unit with the other vehicle. Once done, move the handheld unit to the Cayenne.
