Recommended Brake Controller for Different Trailers and Tow Vehicles

I plan to rent different trailers for camping. Is there a brake controller available that can easily be transferred for the different trailers and a different vehicle if need be?

For an easy way to transport a brake controller to various trailers without physically installing the unit on your tow vehicle then we have the solution for you. The Curt Echo # C51180 is a wireless brake controller that is compatible with trailers that have up to 2 axles. You simply plug this unit into the 7-Way at the rear of your vehicle and then control the various settings with your phone via Bluetooth.

To use this brake controller you just need to download the app to your Apple iOS or Android OS device and then make sure that your 7-Way connector has power to the 12V pin in the 2 o'clock position (see attached photo).
