  • Whats the Difference Between A 205/75-15 Tire in Load Range C and Load Range D
  • The only difference is the capacity of the tire. The load range of a tire refers to its weight capacity. A Westlake ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D # LHAW121 wheel/tire combo you mention has a capacity of 2150 lbs per tire or 4300 lbs per axle. A C load range tire on a similar wheel like # TA67VR typically has an 1820 lb per tire/3640 lbs per axle weight capacity. I've linked to product videos for the products I mentioned above.

  • Differences Between the Lippert Components Power Stabilizer Trailer Jacks
  • You made a great choice in the Lippert Components Power Stabilizer Trailer Jack. For starters, all of the jacks measure to be 70-1/2" long with a 3,500 lb weight capacity and have a 30" lift. The difference between them is in regards to what is included with them. The part # LC369774 comes with a white switch and part # LC298707 comes with a black switch. That is the only difference.

  • Choosing Between Curt TruTrack & Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems for Keystone Travel Trailer
  • If I personally had to choose between an Equal-i-zer or a Curt TruTrack weight distribution system, I'd choose the Equal-i-zer every time. Hands down. No contest, no comparison. Why? Here's why: 1) Equal-i-zer only makes weight distribution systems. It's their bread and butter, their only line of business. They've been doing it for over 70 years and the quality and performance of the product is absolute proof they know what they're doing. 2) Curt is also a long time player in the towing...

  • Comparing Dometic 310 Toilets 302310093 and 302310081
  • The biggest difference between the Dometic 310 part 302310093 you've currently got and the Dometic Part-Timer # DOM57FR is that the Part-Timer comes with an all wood, slow-close seat where your existing model is the retail model that comes with the plastic seat. The other difference is the color, since the # DOM57FR is white where your old toilet is considered a "bone" color. There is a slightly different color available of the 310 Part-Timer with the Dometic Part-Timer RV Toilet - Standard...

  • Comparing etrailer.com Grease Seal # RG06-050 and # 58846
  • The etrailer.com Grease Seals # RG06-050 and # 58846 that you referenced are essentially identical. As you mentioned both feature the same 1.719 inch inner diameter and 2.565 inch outer diameter and both have the double-lip design that will help it to hold up better over time. The # RG06-050 does include 2 seals while the # 58846 includes only 1 seal. Both will work exactly the same so if you are needing 2 seals I recommend simply taking the route that ends up being the cheapest at the...

  • Comparing Benefits of Greased Hubs vs Oil Bath Hubs
  • For most RVs greased hubs are a better option than oil bath hubs, and for the exact reason you mention. While it is obviously not good to run your greased hubs without a full load of grease, this tends not to result in catastrophic failures, mostly accelerated wear and higher operating temperature. Oil bath hubs are less forgiving of leaks and they tend not to do as good a job as greased hubs at keeping water out of the hubs. If you check out RV forums on this subject you'll probably find...

  • The only difference between the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # 23-180-181 and Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # 23-464-465 is that the latter is self-adjusting which means the pads will automatically adjust for the best performance and pad wear. • Difference Between Curt RV Multi Fit Hitches 13703 vs. C13704 Capacity Wise
  • This is a very valid question, but the short answer (I'll explain more later) is that Curt tested the # C13704 and found that it's bracket design can withstand more weight than the # 13703. This is most likely due to the brackets being smaller and more limited in how they can install and using those install methods it can support more weight safely. If the # 13703 happens to have enough weight capacity for your e-bike and rack though you'd be perfectly fine to use it. For an e-bike rack...

  • The Curt CrossWing Lightweight Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # C32DR and part # C92DR are the exact same. This hitch is designed to attach to a gooseneck hitch and provide a connection for a fifth wheel hitch. Therefore, if you have a standalone goosneck hitch or factory prep package this is the hitch you'll want to use. It's very lightweight at only 70 lbs so it's easy to get in and out of the truck bed by yourself. Please note, there is another version of this hitch...

  • Best Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System for a 2016 Keystone Cougar Travel Trailer
  • For your 2016 Keystone Cougar Travel Trailer, it's best to use the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System that's rated for 12,000 lbs gross trailer weight, part # EQ37120ET. The reason for going with a system that has a higher gross trailer weight capacity for your Travel Trailer is because of the tongue weight, which is the most important factor when choosing a weight distribution system. The dry tongue weight of your trailer is about 800 pounds. However, when that is loaded, that will...

  • Thanks for your question. The Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - 15K system # C17501 you mentioned is a 4 point sway control system. The four points consist of the 2 points where the trunnion bars meet the frame brackets and the other 2 points are near the head where the trunnion bars integrate. There is a spring loaded ball bearing that is another point of friction on each bar giving you the other two friction points. I've attached a photo to assist. This...
