These adapter brackets bolt on to the end of your tow bar's arms to make your tow bar compatible with all Blue Ox base plates. I have linked an installation video below.
In order to flat tow your Jeep you will also need a wiring kit and a supplemental braking... view full answer...

When we installed the Curt hitch part # 13414 on a similar Jeep Commander as your 2006 model we found that from the center of the hitch pin out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper the measurement is 3-1/2 inches.
In case you were asking about the vertical distance between the hitch tube and the bumper I attached a picture to show that it fits right under that as well. view full answer...
The Hopkins Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector # HM42190 is the standard 7-way that should be directly compatible with your photo. You just line up the raised portion of the connector with the cutout of the connector.
When you say 6 sockets it makes me think you need adapter # HM47570 but your photo shows me a 7-way that shouldn't require an adapter. view full answer...
The Rhino-Rack cargo basket, # RMCB02, will fit on crossbars that are up to 3-1/2 inches wide x 1-1/4 inches tall. And the crossbar spread needs to be 25 to 44 inches center to center between the bars. You will need to measure the crossbars on your 2008 Jeep Commander to determine fit.
If you do not have a roof rack on your Jeep then you can add one. I have included a link to the roof rack main page for your vehicle. Since there are so many possible roof configurations you will need to... view full answer...
I may have a solution for you, but since we don't sell CVT awnings there's no way for me to test whether you'll be able to get the awning connected to your Yakima HD bars. I'll also say that the Yakima Replacement Clamps # 8880737 don't actually connect to the awning, they connect directly to a bracket that would attach to an awning. So I can confirm that these clamps will work with the HD bars, so the connection with the bars isn't the issue.
To make the connection from those clamps to... view full answer...

I have a solution for you. I confirmed with my contact at Superchips that the TrailDash TD2 Performance Tuner SU42050 does not work with the 5.7L V8 Engine - HEMI model of 2006 Jeep Commander. With that being said, a great alternative tuner is the Flashpaq F5 # SU3874. The F5 has pre-loaded tunes that boost throttle response, towing performance, and fuel efficiency. In addition, the F5 has the capability to activate Jeep-exclusive power levels and user-set options to maximize off-road capabiliti... view full answer...

After doing some research, I have some answers for you. Let me start with I can not tell you for sure that the frames of both vehicles are the same width but I can assure you that the Roadmaster Sterling All-Terrain Tow Bar Item # RM-576 will work with the base plate kits on your 2007 Jeep Commander.
I recommend the Roadmaster MX Base Plate Kit Item # 1427-3 for your 2007 Jeep Commander. It will accommodate your existing Roadmaster tow bar Item # RM-576. I chose this base plate kit... view full answer...
The Thule Quick Grip Mount Assembly # TH05738 does fit the 2006 Jeep Commander with either the Sport crossbars or standard crossbars from the factory. However, to use them with the Evolution cargo box you would have to make modifications to the box. And you would need to use cradle # TH8523387001 for each foot. The feet and the cradles are sold in quantities of one.
Making modifications to the cargo box can make it structurally unsound and not safe for use. I do not recommend making modifications... view full answer...

Due to the rather tall roof of the Commander, you might also be interested in a tire step like part # HE4040. A tire step would make accessing your rooftop cargo much easier and safer. view full answer...

The mileage coach helps you track and improve driving habits to achieve better fuel economy. A data collection program lets you monitor vital... view full answer...
Transmission coolers like Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13504 are not vehicle specific; the fit really just depends on if you have the space in the engine compartment to fit the cooler. The Derale transmission cooler measures 11" wide x 12" tall x 7/8" deep and the ideal location for installation is between the vehicle's grille and AC condenser core. If you do not have enough space there, you would want to install it between the condenser and the radiator.... view full answer...
