Compatibility of Standard 7-Way Trailer Connector with 6 Socket Trailer Connector
Question:
i PURCHASED YOUR: Hopkins Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector Item # HM42190 hAD IT INSTALLED. It has male fins My trailer plug has 6 female fin sockets. But the plugs do not align/fit together. Do I need an adaptor or all all 6-fin plugs the same?

The Hopkins Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector # HM42190 is the standard 7-way that should be directly compatible with your photo. You just line up the raised portion of the connector with the cutout of the connector.
When you say 6 sockets it makes me think you need adapter # HM47570 but your photo shows me a 7-way that shouldn't require an adapter.
