I have a solution for you. I confirmed with my contact at Superchips that the TrailDash TD2 Performance Tuner SU42050 does not work with the 5.7L V8 Engine - HEMI model of 2006 Jeep Commander. With that being said, a great alternative tuner is the Flashpaq F5 # SU3874. The F5 has pre-loaded tunes that boost throttle response, towing performance, and fuel efficiency. In addition, the F5 has the capability to activate Jeep-exclusive power levels and user-set options to maximize off-road capabilities.
