  • Increasing Tire Size On A Jayco Eagle Pop-Up Camper
  • Hi Libby, Before increasing your tire size you'll need to check your clearance from the tire up to the fender and horizontally from the tire to body/frame. You'll need at least an inch horizontally and 3" vertically to allow for suspension travel. Increasing tire size will also place more wear and tear on the bearings so you'll need to repack them more often to prevent overheating/damage to the spindle. 205/70R14 tires have an overall diameter of 25.85" so we can look at the diameter...

  • Slam Latch for Camper Baggage Doors That Are 5/8" Thick
  • Although we do not have any that are designed for a door that thin you can still use the Global Link Locking Baggage Lock Actuator Set with Mounting Plate # GL34FR you were looking at. All you need to do is add a thin piece of wood to the inside of the door to get it into the range of 0.7" to 1.25" thick. I attached an installation video below for your reference.

  • Which 15,000 Btu Advent AC to Replace Coleman Mach & On Shore Power
  • Since you are using shore power, you can replace your Coleman with an Advent 15,000 Btu unit and just need the wiring adapter. I really like the low profile units so I recommend going that route, and you can choose from either White or Black in color: - White: Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner # ADV29FR - Black: Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner # ADV56FR - Adapter Wiring Kit for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACCOLKIT

  • Can a Freeze Sensor Be Added To AC Coils on Manually Controlled Furrion AC System?
  • The manually controlled Air Distribution Box # FACT11MA-PS does not include a freeze sensor or a way to add this type of sensor. You would need to install a Controller # FACC12SA-BL which communicates with a Thermostat # FR33PR to have a freeze sensor. As long as you are cleaning the coils on your rooftop air conditioner, cleaning the air filter and not running the AC on max cool for long periods of time this should help to reduce the coil from freezing.

  • What Does Underslung Coupler Look Like for Picking Out B and W Continuum Weight Distribution
  • Hey Tom, you are on the right track. I checked out your 2023 Jayco Jay Flight 284 BHS and it does have an underslung coupler so the correct B and W Continuum weight distribution would be the part # BW88FR. An underslung coupler is basically one that mounts to the bottom of the trailer frame and an overslung is one that attaches to the top. I attached a picture of one to show you what I mean.

  • Recommended Rear Anti Sway Bars for a 2023 Jayco Precept 34G
  • Since they both ( # RM-1139-149 & # RM25VR ) will work with your 2023 Jayco Precept 34G you're going to need to take a look at your current ones and measure the bar diameter and pick one that matches. When picking out anti-sway bars, the key is the thicker the bars the better they'll preform, which is why I recommend checking what you have first so you can be sure these'll be an upgrade.

  • What Should The Tire Pressure Be on Starfire Solarus AP LT235/75R15 For Jayco Hummingbird Trailer?
  • Based on a brochure I found for the Starfire Solarus AP LT235/75R15 104/101R I saw, it has a maximum pressure rating of 50psi. I do recommend verifying this is the same information stamped on the side of your tire. Trailer manufacturers recommend running the maximum tire pressure to ensure the trailer weight is properly supported. I do recommend using a TPMS like the TireMinder # TM38FR with the flow through sensors. This will make it easier to fill the tires and also allows you to see...

  • Can MaxxAir MaxxFan Mini Roof Vent be Used With Wall Switch
  • We have trailer roof vents that have an included wall switch you can use, but it is not recommended to use one with the MaxxAir MaxxFan Mini Roof Vent with 12V Fan # MA00-04301M because this vent is meant to have 12 volt power constantly, and a switch interrupts the voltage, which could damage the circuit board. If you'd like, what you can use instead is an option from Ventline which includes the wall switch for simple use: - Ventline Ventadome Roof Vent with 12V Fan and Wall Switch...

  • Replacement Exterior Lights For A 2008 Jayco Designer 36RLTS
  • We certainly should have options for replacing the exterior lights on your 2008 Jayco Designer 36 RLTS. We do not have a way to cross reference a model of RV in order to know exactly what size and shape of lights you will need. If you can provide some pictures and/or measurements for the lights, that will really help to narrow it down. Sometimes there may be a model number or part number on the old light which can also help when finding a replacement. If you would like to send over some...

  • Parts Needed to Convert 2003 Jayco Eagle Pop Up With Surge Brakes to Electric
  • Hey Susan, to swap your surge brakes to electric over hydraulic, you're going to need to change out your actuator and add a proper brake controller. For an actuator I'd recommend going with the Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Drum Brakes # HBA-10 if you have drums, or # HBA16 for discs. From here, you'll need a brake controller. I recommend checking out the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195. This brake controller will work great with electric brakes,...

  • Do I Need To Uninstall Diodes When Uninstalling The Roadmaster InvisiBrake System?
  • Hey Fred, good question. When uninstalling the Roadmaster InvisiBrake system, you do not need to remove the diodes. You certainly can remove them if you wish but leaving them in place is also acceptable. All they are doing is preventing current from flowing in more than one direction. So if you were to leave them in place, you would not notice any effects of any kind. Generally, we would not re-use a diode after it has been installed, so it will probably be easier and faster to just leave...

  • What 2" Receiver Is Needed To Carry a Scooter Behind a 2005 Jayco Jay Feather 19H?
  • You are going to need a Frame Mounted Hitch # C13704 since your 2005 Jayco Jay Feather 19H does not have a strong enough bumper to mount to for the weight of your 300lb scooter. This hitch is rated for up to 500lbs of tongue weight which will be plenty for the scooter with the Carrier # FHG99ZR. It would be a good idea to have the hitch mounted by a RV shop so they can inspect the frame as well to determine if it will need any additional bracing or structure to fully support the additional...

  • What Size Bolt Secures Head to Shank of Fastway Weight Distribution FA92-00-0800
  • Hey Richard! Glad to hear that you really liked the performance of the Fastway weight distribution system part # FA92-00-0800. It's a bummer you lost the nut to the bolt that holds the head of the system to the shank but the size of the bolt is 3/4-10 x 5 inch grade 5. The only way we have to order this kit is with the part # FA92-02-9600 which comes with more than you'd need.

  • Hey Justin! With the current Progressive Dynamics REL 60A 4500 Series Inteli-Power Converter Section # PD4560CSV you'll either need to make a jumper or you'll just need to go with the Converter Section # PD4560LICSV instead, so your power center can handle the Lithium battery style. To be able to completely switch between both modes you'll need a whole new power center with the part # PD4560K18LS8.
