Purpose of Blue Furnace Wires On Replacement Single Zone Thermostat for Dometic RV Air Conditioners
Question:
Your wiring diagram of the dometic control box was great, but could you tell me the 2 blue wires labeled furnance are doi g what? Are they sending 12 volts to the furnace? No sure wgat tells the furnce ro turn on. I get the tstat sends message to the control box and i figure the control box then sends ? Thru the blue wires. I hope this nake sence. Thanks.

The two blue wires for the # DMC79FR control box wiring are signal wires. They complete the circuit at the furnace control board when the furnace should be running.

Thats what im confused about. They seem to carry 12 volts, 1 of the blue wires ties in at the on off/ braker switch which is low voltage and that breaker poped on me once and it killed all power to the t stat. Just confused how they tell the contol board to start.
