Sounds like you have the Curt Hitch part # C11339 installed on your 2002 Jaguar X-Type.
The two wiring options are basically two different manufacturer's versions of the same harness. Personally I like the Curt harnesses like part # C59496 better since they have more modern circuit boards and tend to resist shorting better.

I spoke to my contact at Tekonsha and unfortunately neither they nor we have tested the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # TK94FR on a 2017 Jaguar F-Pace so I would not be able to give you a definite yes or no answer.
