Recommended Tire Chains for 2006 Jaguar XJ With 235/50r18 Tires

Question:

Do you have any reviews, comments or suggestions about using this chain on a Jag with 235x50 18 tires? You would recommend any other chain set?

The Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # th02230k45 are confirmed to fit your 2006 Jaguar XJ Series with 235/50r18 tires and I do not see any issues with this setup. The only thing I would say is that it takes some time to install these chains, so if you don't plan on keeping them installed for a long time then I would go with a different set of chains.

I personally would go with the pewag Servo RS Self-Tensioning Tire Chains - 1 Pair # PWRS77 instead. This offers a much simpler and quicker installation process; simply set the chains on your tires and then pull out the cable and clip it to the other side of the chains and you're done. Whereas the Konig chains mentioned above require you to install an adapter onto one of the lug nuts and it is a bit more involving. I attached demonstration videos for both chains to help you decide which one you want to go with.
