First thing you will need is a ball mount. But you need to pick one out that will allow you to tow your trailer level. In order to do that you have to find out which rise/drop you need. You will need to measure from the bottom of the coupler to the ground when it is sitting level and then you will need to measure from the top of the hitch opening to the ground. In order to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75659 which is a fit for a 2006 Honda Element, you'll need to be sure to use the included conical tooth washers which ensure the nuts don't loosen.
