All of the mounting surfaces of the Curt hitch part # C11209 are designed for direct contact with metal. You would not attach this to the vehicle with plastic between the hitch and the frame. view full answer...
Sometimes there are pieces of the vehicle that get left off when installing a base plate kit like the # BX2265 just due to fact they occupy space on the front of the vehicle where space is tight. What we've found with this base plate kit is that there is no effect on cooling power with the shielding removed. We've sold quite a few of these base plate kits to people who have put quite a few miles on the vehicle without any reported issue so I would not anticipate any problems even in your... view full answer...
A lift is not required to install Curt trailer hitch # C11604 on a 2016 Honda Civic sedan. It would make it easier but it isn't a necessity. Jacking up the rear of the vehicle, rolling it up on some ramps, using jack stands, any of these will give you enough space to install the hitch. I have linked a video showing an example installation of this hitch for you. view full answer...
The K-Source Replacement Side Mirror - Manual Remote - Black - Driver Side # KS63552H and the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror - Manual Remote - Black - Passenger Side # KS63551H(Passenger Side) are not electric so your 2002 Honda Civic DX Sedan may have a manual control stick inside the car that will allow you to adjust the mirror face. This is what you would need in order to adjust the face as opposed to a button, which I am assuming is for electric mirrors. view full answer...

You'll begin by removing the clips on the underside of the fascia that hold the center trim panel and removing the panel. You'll also remove the underbody panel if the vehicle is so equipped. Then, you will temporarily lower the exhaust as demonstrated in the linked video. You'll want to use a ratchet... view full answer...

You cannot open the trunk on any vehicle with any trunk mount bike rack installed. There are a few reasons for this. First, the extra weight of the rack could cause the trunk to fall unexpectedly which could result in damage or injury. Similarly the hinges on the trunk are not designed for the additional stress (though an unloaded rack doesn't add much weight).
And last the geometry, the shape of the opening that the bike rack hooks fit into on a vehicle changes when you open the trunk.... view full answer...
I checked with Thule and you need to install the lower hooks onto the lower edge of your trunk lid. Check out the video I attached. It is a different vehicle as yours but the installation process will be the same. Opening the trunk is required to get the lower cables in place. As thin as the hooks on the straps are they should not interfere with your trunk closing. You may want to check to make sure that just the hook is under the trunk lid.

I attached a review video for the Thule SUP Shuttle Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier with Tie-Downs # TH811XT that shows how to transport ONE SUP. To carry two boards the install will be very similar.
