The etrailer 2-in-1 Exterior Windshield and Wiper Blade Cover # e98899 can be placed on a wet and rainy window but I don't think it will have the affect you're wanting. I've used the Hopkins Heavy-Duty ArcticGuard Snow and Ice Windshield Cover # HM17529 in the same manner you're talking about and I've had to kind of peel the windshield off since that rain became frozen so it was a combination of having the defroster on for a bit and peeling the cover off.
Since the etrailer 2-in-1 has... view full answer...
Yes, the Hopkins Heavy-Duty ArcticGuard Snow and Ice Windshield Cover part # HM17529 will fit your 2005 Buick LeSabre and will do an excellent job of keeping the snow and ice off of your windshield. As you can see from the sample install video, the process is very simple. Just throw the cover over the windshield and secure it inside the vehicle using the included hooks. You can then tighten the cover with the straps for a better fit. The hardest part will be just throwing the cover over... view full answer...

1. Center the cover on the windshield.
2.Place the security pockets over the open door corners, then close the doors.

The etrailer 2-in-1 Exterior Windshield and Wiper Blade Cover part # e98899 does not come with magnets, it is held in place both by the sewn in loops which wrap around the side mirrors as well as the fabric flaps which will get shut in the door jamb. It is actually pretty secure once you get both of these attachments secured. I don't think magnets would work well for a windshield cover. view full answer...
Adco Windshield Cover # 290-2411 does sort of lock to the vehicle. The project manager for this product told me that it has sewn-in door pockets that slip over the corners of each door. When the cover is installed and the door is closed the cover cannot be removed making this an anti-theft feature. The rest of the cover stays in place using magnets. It isn't insulated either. Since it installs on the exterior of the vehicle insulation wouldn't do much good. It is primarily used to keep... view full answer...

I have a solution for you. Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee that the Rampage 4-Layer Outdoor Vehicle Cover - Gray - 15' 1" to 16' Long # RA1304 will secure in any way during transport. This is especially true at higher speeds.
However, depending on your tow bar/base plate setup on your 2014 Toyota Camry, you can use a rock guard like the Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard # RM-4000 or the Sentry Deflector for Demco Tow Bars # DM9523135.

I can definitely assist you installing the etrailer 2-in-1 Exterior Windshield and Wiper Blade Cover - 70" Wide x 39-3/4" Tall # e98899.
The first thing you need to do is to put the side "stopper" tabs into the door jambs of your vehicle with the blue side up (for snow/ice protection) or the silver side up (for sun reflection). Once that is complete, all you need to do is use the side straps to fasten the cover around your side mirrors. You may need to double-wrap or even triple-wrap... view full answer...

For as many units of the # 288-06603 as we've sold, not one customer has reported any sort of damage to their vehicle door's weatherstripping. So, it's safe to say that unless you plan on leaving the cover on for months and months at a time (other covers are available specifically for long term storage), you have nothing to worry about. Automotive weatherstripping is typically made of a mixed rubber material that is naturally very elastic and long lasting. Before closing the doors, just... view full answer...

The instructions included with the Curt Friction Style Sway Control System, part # 17200 state that when you are towing in wet, icy, gravel, or snow-covered roads, the sway control MUST be removed. I am only passing on the information included with the products we offer.
The reason is that the sway control can make the system too stiff when you face road conditions like those mentioned, and if traction was lost for the trailer it would push the towing vehicle and be very dangerous. It... view full answer...
