The Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap # 18050 is usually used on Class I or Class II hitches to help distribute the weight on them. Since your hitch # C13136 for your 2013 Ausi Q5 is a Class III hitch, then it does not need the stabilizing strap.

When we installed the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75940 on both a 2016 and a 2017 Audi Q5 we found the ground clearance (from ground to inside top of the receiver) was 15". Even though we haven't had a chance to install this trailer hitch on a 2015 model the measurement should be really close to that if not the exact same.

The best installation instructions I can give you for installing the # C59236 on your 2015 Audi Q5 would be to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the wiring harness of the taillights you have on your vehicle and then wire up the # C59236 accordingly by function.

We've actually seen this before with the Curt Echo # C51180 and Audi factory trailer plugs before, and the downward angle on your 7 way bracket will not affect the operation of the controller. You won't need to reposition the plug and the Echo will work in this orientation, so there's nothing to worry about there. In the install instructions for the Curt hitch part # C13136 that you referenced Curt recommends safety goggles, a ratchet, T-20 and T-27 Torxbit socket, 3/4 9/16 10 mm and 13mm socket, screwdriver, 12 inch socket extension, a marker, a power drill, a 1/2 inch drill bit, a torque wrench and a cut-off wheel on a grinder.

Trailer wiring harness # 119250KIT doesn't have vehicle specific installation instructions so you have to test the vehicle wiring using the included circuit tester to make sure you are connecting its wires to the proper vehicle wire.

There are 2 things that you cannot do with any bike rack installed and those are opening the rear hatch/trunk or using the rear wiper blades as both of these can cause damage to the bike rack. This is the same case for the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top # HRF2 on your 2011 Audi Q5.

The brake lights and tail lights should be on the same wire on your 2012 Audi Q5 and the turn signals will have their own wires. So when installing wiring harness # C59236 follow the PWM-ST instructions.

If you are having trouble feeding the security strap of the Yakima FullBack, part # Y02634, through the top of your hatch, then you can feed it through the bottom.
The security strap is not meant as another point for anchoring. It's simply there as an anti-theft strap that will keep the rack from coming loose if someone tries to pull it off. If you are installing a 4-pole wiring harness kit like # 119250KIT or # C59236 you'll use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 or the one included with the kit to test the vehicle's taillight wiring to find what function is carried on each one.
