Trimming Required for Draw-Tite Hitch on 2012 Audi Q5

Question:

Hi i have a 2012 Audi q5 and the draw tite hitch75940. Just to reconfirm before i cut the fascia. How far is the cut from the bottom edge? I made a 6.25 x 3 3/4 rectangle piece of cardboard i m going to trace where to cut.

I have attached for you below a snip from the instructions for the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75940 which is a fit for a 2012 Audi Q5.This snip goes over the details for trimming the rear bumper fascia. Unfortunately, Draw-Tite does not provide a measurement from the bottom edge so I cannot provide this. In order to find the depth of the cut you'll need to measure from the top of the rib or recessed area, down 6 1/4” which you can see in the photo below.
