How Does Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Harness # 119250KIT Wire to 2014 Audi Q5

Question:

Using Tekonsha 119250KIT How do I know if my car is 2 wire or 3 wire for the red brake wire on the kit? Are there any wiring diagrams available for a 2014? The only youtube videos I could find were for a 2012 and 2016 and I am running into difficulty figuring if the wiring is correct even with a volt meter. When I hook up to my trailer the right side works, but the left is totally our. I dont know if its the wiring harness or the actual trailer.

A 2014 and 2016 Audi Q5 are the same generation so the install video for the trailer wiring harness part # 119250KIT that's attached below would be the correct guide to use. Looks like the blue and black wire carries the running light circuit so that gets ran to the brown wire of the harness, for the yellow wire of the harness you run that to either the gray and white wire or the gray and black wire on the left turn side of the vehicle and the same color for the right-hand side for the green wire of the harness.

The red wire of the harness gets grounded with the white wire since the brake and turn signals are on the same circuit.
