Video Transcript for STKR Concepts Rechargeable Mobile Task Light Review

Hi, everyone. I'm Evangeline here at etrailer.com, and, today, I have the STKR Concepts Rechargeable Mobile Task Light. This is a 1,200 true lumen and task light. You can use it around the shop, when you go camping, or in other situations where you want something that's small, portable, but also really bright. So, we'll take a look at some of the functions, how to use it, and see if this is gonna be the right fit for you, your shop, or your adventures. This is a good time to show off how it goes from the ultra flood lights to the focus beam by moving that dome lens I showed you earlier.

Pressing the big red button on the task light cycles to the different settings from high, medium, low, and even a strobe light. The frame of the light is you have this aluminum head in this hexagon pattern, and the reason for this is it maintains the lightweightness of the light, but also provides a really strong and sturdy base. So, this also works with the heat sink, because, the lights, they heat up pretty quickly. But with this being made of aluminum, you know that it's going to be cool to the touch. In front of the LED lights, you have the option for this dome or to take away the dome.

This allows you to adjust for floodlight versus focus light. Flipping this over, you have this strong and sturdy base, and this is gonna be made of steel. This will be your steel exoskeleton. If you wanna set it on the ground, you have this sturdy stand, that no matter how much force you put onto it, it immediately goes straight into the steady position. But, once you have it here, you can also adjust that light.

So, notice that huge range of rotation. You can go 180 degrees. So, depending on where you have this hanging or standing, you can adjust it with it. For hanging this light up, you do have some different options. At the back of the stands, you do have this little divot up top, which makes it great for if you need to attach it to some pegs or to some hooks.

You can also use the sides of the stands for different positions. This also works with louvered wall panels or those bin and metal panels you may have in your garage, creating an even more sturdy hold. Holding the head down makes this four inches tall with the light panel facing up. If you need it to be extra, extra compact, though, you can fold it down this way where it's about three inches tall. And, that way, if you need to store it inside your toolbox, you can, just be mindful of where that cord sits. (metal clanging) Here you have the plug-in port for your USB-C cord. So, this is included with your light. You have the USB-A at the end, USB-C, which plugs into the task light. Nice to know that they've modernized their ports, so it's similar to my phone. In fact, another thing that's similar to my phone is it has a 4,000 milliamp lithium ion rechargeable battery. That's a lot of power. Now, it doesn't specify how long it'll take for your light to discharge, and I personally would prefer using this with a longer cord. But, once you do plug it in, it lights up the LED indicator where the power button is showing that it is charging. When the light is off, you'll be able to see how much battery is left on the light. So, notice here how only half of the button is illuminated. That shows it's not fully charged up, and you may need to plug it in a little bit longer. Here in the dark, you can see only half of the button is illuminated, and that shows you that it's not fully charged, and it needs to be plugged in further. You will not see that battery level, though, when the light is turned on. This can stand with the exoskeleton. This can also hang off of your pegboards. But you can also attach this to a tripod if you want to use those for maybe a more stable or taller surface. So, here we have our tripod plate. This could also just attach directly to some of your more affordable tripods. Tighten that down, and you can just see here, for example, how we can just adapt it for a different surface mounting experience. All in all, this was a fun task light to work with. I could definitely see it being useful in your RV, your vehicle, your garage, your shop, your shed. It is an upgrade from your regular flashlight because this has what I think is a brighter beam, as well as more versatility for where you put it, while still staying compact and lightweight at less than a pound total. That right there was a look at the STKR Concepts Rechargeable Mobile Task Light here at etrailer.com. My name is Evangeline and I hope you enjoyed the journey.
