The Michelin Stealth Ultra hybrid-style wiper blade for your vehicle guarantees excellent results when it comes to keeping your windshield clean. It combines the contoured, aerodynamic shape of a beam-style wiper with the flexibility and multiple pressure points of a frame-style wiper to produce a blade that won't miss spots or cause streaking.
The Stealth uses patented SmartFlex frame arms and hinges for superior windshield-cleaning results. The 2 secondary arms flex to allow the blade to conform to the shape of your windshield better than standard frames can. The secondary arms also provide strong lateral support to the wiper. The SmartFlex hinges are designed to work together with the secondary arms, enhancing their ability to hold down the ends of the blade. The secondary arms transfer downward pressure to 4 tertiary arms, resulting in a total of 8 pressure points along the blade for even windshield contact. The SmartFlex system ensures that the blade applies pressure along its entire length, no matter the shape of your windshield or the pressure exerted by your wiper's arms
The Stealth Ultra has a hard cover that prevents the wiper blade from accumulating sleet, snow, and leaves. By resisting buildup - and adding to the overall strength of the blade - the hard cover ensures that the wiper can weather the tough challenges of Mother Nature and consistently keep your windshield clear.
The hard cover's hinges work independently of the hinges in the wiper frame, which allows the blade to flex so that it conforms perfectly to the shape of your windshield. Because the wiper makes consistent contact with your windshield along the length of the blade, it can completely remove sleet, rain, and snow with no missed spots.
The cover has an aerodynamic shape to resist the effects of wind. This ensures that the blade resists being lifted by the wind and maintains even pressure on your windshield at all times.
The natural rubber squeegee is made with proprietary processing techniques to ensure that it outperforms the competition. And the squeegee has a graphite coating to make sure the wiper glides smoothly across your windshield. This graphite coating helps to eliminate skipping, which can leave behind a washboard pattern of water. It also helps keep your wiper quiet so you won't be annoyed by squealing or chattering sounds.
To install the blade, rotate the connector piece on the blade to fit the type of connector that's on your car. (Some wiper arm styles require that you replace the standard connector on the blade with one of the included alternate connectors.) Then clip the wiper blade onto the car's connector. The wiper blade will click into place so that you know it's securely installed.

I'm here at etrailer.com, and today you're going be taking a look at the Michelin Stealth Ultra wiper blades on our 2016 Acura MDX. Now, our Acura is going to have two different size wiper blades. So the driver's side is going to be a 26 inch , and the passenger side is going to be a 20 inch. Just so you know how big the wiper blades you need to put on your car are.And with our new blades on, we're not going to have to worry about the weather for quite some time because these are going to be great for all seasons. Whether it's just rain like we had during the spring and summer, or really get a heavy snow and we start to get some ice and everything building up on our windshield, our wiper blades are definitely going to help clear all that off so we can see safely.If we look at our blades, we're going to have several points like this. And this is going to allow the blade to flex, which is going to help out grabbing the windshield, going over the curves nicely, and have a really uniform wipe so we can clearly see out the windshield.
Now, wiper blades are one of those things that we really don't think about until we need them. And then when we need them, you need them right away. Because usually we're driving, it's raining, and then we need to get all the water off the windshield so we can see and be safe.Well, our wiper blades are actually torn. So when they do start wiping it's really just going to start smearing it and making a mess, and we can't visually see as well out the windshield which is a really big safety hazard. the rubber is actually coming off the blade itself so it's really not helping out in those rainy days. But with this style that we have on here now, we're just going to come to this front cover here, and we're going to lift up, and open it up.If it's a little tight, you may want to grab a screwdriver to pop it open. I'll just pop it open, and you'd kind of want to lift up slightly on the blade, and just slide it off. Now, you want to let this come down and place it on the windshield. You don't want to leave it up because this arm will definitely crack the windshield if it comes down.So we're going to go ahead remove the other one as well.
So grab our new blade. Again, we're on the passenger side so we get the 20 inch blade. And fortunately for us, since we have the J-hook style arms on our Acura, we're not going to have to change out the adapter. That one should already be in there from the factory. And hooking them up is going to be easy as sliding it in place, and you just want to pull so it locks in.
Give it a quick tug. Make sure it's in there securely. We'll put the driver's side on the same way.With the wiper blades in place and our windshield clear, that'll finish up our installation and your look at the Michelin Stealth Ultra wiper blades on our 2016 Acura MDX.
