Today, we're taking a quick look at the Camco vented RV bumper caps that come in a quantity of 2 per package part number CAM40303. This is what the new bumper cover looks like from Camco. As you can see here, this particular one is missing an in and there is some items in there that typically it's your sewer hose or maybe a wash out hose that you stop in the bumper. without the caps, things can easily fall out and then you lose them. Camco has a replacement cap for them. It does come 2 per package, one for each end. It is for a 4 inch square bumper. A small hole in the center of the cap provides for air circulation as well as easy removal.
Has inaudible 00:00:35 edged which helped grip the inside of the bumper here and hold it in place. It is made of a durable polyethylene material. Now I'll show you how easy, it goes in to the end of your bumper here. You can kind of hear a little flutes in there kind of gripping the edge, holding it in place nice and tight. Now, to remove the in cap, you simply put your finger in the hole and pull out gently and it will slide out. These bumper vented end caps work great! The step down ridges make these units fit snugly, yet they can be pulled easily using the vent hole. Shipping was prompt. Very happy with my purchase.
Snug fit, but not too tight to remove. I do check them every time we stop to refuel or camp overnight to ensure they are secure. Good quality. Would buy again if needed.

Great product and fast delivery. I had to be creative attaching it to my trailer as I have no rear bumper. I attached it under the side right next to my sewer drain, very convenient. Used the metal floor support to attach. Much better than keeping it in a container and saves storage space. Highly recommended!
Ordered several items. Took forever to ship. RV cover still not received.
Hitch packaging was destroyed by UPS. Not UPS fault, packaging was lame for such a heavy part. As a result, hitch finish was damaged, but since hitch was going to be installed under vehicle, let it go. Mirror extensions shipped in display carton, again destroyed by UPS. Somehow extensions survived in reasonable shape.
These guys don't seem to inventory parts, seems like they are just a website with some customer service.
Will not order from etrailer.com again.
Spares for when the original end caps fall out. Customer service from etrailer was excellent - one item from my order had a long back-order delay and they called to discuss options then followed up regularly with status. Ended up shipping much sooner than expected. Nice personalized service!
I bought this cheaper version without the strings to connect it to the bumper. Instead I just put a 18" zip tie around the bumper and then zip tied the cap to the bumper zip tie - works flawlessly.
Good thing, because the cap is just a little loose fitting (hence the 3 star). I've not yet ever found one hanging from the tie, but they constantly seem to work themselves about half off and I have to push them back in place.
Purchased this product about a year ago and it is still in use and functioning well. I did need to shave the plastic ribs just a little to push fit into my bumper, wasn't a big deal. It was just a little tight for my tastes going into the bumper - has not fallen out yet ! Overall I would say this is a quality part.
After a year of steady use, it’s safe to say these sewer caps are far superior to the kick on and fall off standard caps. One squeeze and they’re on and squeeze again and they come off. They stay in place with no slipping after 10K of use.
Seem to be a great product. They go on with a firm whack of the palm and come off with a good tug. I store my drain hose in the bumper. These are tight enough that I don't have to worry about them falling off and losing my hose.
These bumper caps are far superior to the caps they replaced. They work so well we don't even think about them. I can't think of higher praise than having something that you don't have to worry about.
Well what can you say about these basic parts? Really, they are there to perform a function, but the fact that they come loose while traveling seems to be a design flaw, otherwise, one would not have to keep pushing them back into place. I have to usually check these every trip I make, no matter how short, just to be sure they do not work their way out. I assume this is what happened and created the need to order new ones. I have not yet installed the new ones but again, what can you say about these basic parts?
These caps fit perfect and is exactly what we needed for our travel trailer, and I couldn't believe the price. I have several more items saved that we will be ordering from your site for our camper. Thank you tons
These will work just fine. They are stiffer than the rubbery ones that we had and I had to tap them in with a mallet. First few removals may need a tool, but we will probably leave them in place anyway, since our drain hose is elsewhere.
The parts were delivered on time. They were the right parts and good quality parts. They're installed and working fine. I recommend etrailer and I bookmarked their site.

Vent hole makes it convenient for removing, for access to storage inside your bumper.
Cheap product. Wouldn't take them for free. These were my bad. I thought I was buying the Camco flex bumper caps. They are a 5 star product.
Every thing was what I wanted, I think next time I will read about the item a little closer, I needed two mirrors, I'll just order one more on my next order. Great web site, keep up the good work...
My wife and I returned home from our last camping trip of the season to find one of the bumper caps missing off the camper. These caps fit perfectly. Problem solved.
