Today, we're going to take a look at the Americana Chrome Plated Steel Trailer Wheel Center Cap. This is made for wheels that have a pilot hole diameter of 2.8 inches up to 2.84 inches. This cap will create a nice finish look on your trailer by covering the wheel hub with the chrome plated center cap. This is a chrome plated steel construction. It's very durable. The center cap will cover that ugly axle hub that protrudes through your trailer wheel. Basically, all you have to do before you put your wheel tire assembly onto your trailer, is push this cap through the back.
It will go through, hold in place. Put your wheel up on, put your lugs nuts on, tighten it down, and it gives a nice, finishing touch to your trailer. This will fit 12 inch and 13 inch diameter wheels. Again, they have the pilot hole diameter of 2.8 inches up to 2.84 inches. The length on this, or height, is going to be right at three inches. What I'm going to do is I happen to pull a wheel that has that 2.80 pilot hole diameter.
Let me just span out here so we can see. The pilot hole diameter is this measurement right here, the large hole in the center of the wheel. This one happens to be 2.80 inches. So again, when you have your tire mounted on this, and you're going to put these on your trailer before you install them, you take your center cap, push it through the back. You can see the center cap will have a lip right on it. You just push it right through the back.
That lip will hold it into place, and you can see as you turn it around and attach this on to your trailer. Put the lug nuts on. It will give you a nice, finished look, too. You won't see that ugly axle hub. When you take them off, to get it out, just push it back through, and the cap will come right out. That should do it for the review on the Americana Chrome Plated Steel Trailer Wheel Center Cap, that fits the wheels with the pilot hole diameter of 2.8 inches up to 2.84 inches..

I purchased these hub caps after the old plastic ones that came with my 1993 Starcraft 1021 popup camper had cracked and we worn out.
These were made of metal instead of plastic and with the nice chrome plating finish, make the camper look brand new.
I would definitely recommend these to anyone needing to replace their old trailer hubcaps.

Excellent and on time. The best news is that they slid right into a 2.75 inch pilot hole (measured with a certified caliper) on my popup camper wheel even though the advertised pilot hole requirement was 2.80-2.84 inches! They look so good that now I'm replacing all the old lug bolts to match. Thanks etrailer.

These are galvanized trailer rims front and back and chrome center caps from etrailer! I highly recommend this website if you're building / rebuilding a trailer but I'm doing a golf cart right now being they share the same 4on4 wheel bolt pattern as trailers it's much more economical to use trailer parts plus a little more heavy duty. But they have the best prices on parts and tires. They even went above and beyond and mounted my front tires on the rims and tires I ordered separately with no extra cost! Thank you all at etrailer so very much and will be doing much more business soon

Worked as they should! PSA! Be sure to measure the bore diameter for the wheel that they are going on, and not the bore for one that you think is the same. I read the bore diameter for the wheels that I purchased, and measured the bore diameter of the wheels that I took off. Needless to say, they were different. I eventually figured it out, but once I did, they look great in the new Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 that I put on the trailer. Before and after photos included w/ review.

Ordered to replace the white plastic ones that were worn, chipped, and sun damaged. They arrived quickly and installed easily.
These chrome colored plastic covers will keep the hub cleaner and happen to match the chrome clad wheel covers on the tow vehicle.

I have been looking for wheel caps for years with no luck. I purchased a classic MGB with custom wheels but no wheel caps. I finally came across etrailer.com and took a shot on these caps. They are about 2mm too small but fit well with a little modification. They look great! My only complaint is that one of the caps had 5mm round spots of rust on it. I managed to buff the rust off and waxed it to keep the rust from coming back.

I receive the tire and wheel package from Ups in one box. everything was packaged correctly with no damage. I replace the tires and wheels that came with my ultra tow trailer. This package is awesome the tires are about 2"wide and higher the the China bombs! We will be taking the trailer on a trip of 5000 miles later this summer I was concerned with the old tires and wheels I have no concerns with the new package. Oh they also look awesome !

- Center Cap Recommendation for Wheel with 2.80 Diameter Pilot HoleThe center cap part # AM90113 that you referenced can fit pilot diameters that are 2.80-2.84 inches in diameter. You would want to use a digital caliper like part # PTW80157 to remeasure to be certain of what you have.
