BedRug bed liner hinge over tailgate section

The BedRug truck-bed liner protects your fragile cargo and your vehicle's bed from life's bumpy roads. The 3/4" thick, carpet-like liner covers your whole bed - walls, floor and tailgate - including a built-in hinge that helps to prevent debris from falling in between the truck bed and tailgate.

Haul furniture, pet kennels, electronics and any other breakable or sensitive cargo using this cushioned bed liner. The non-slip surface helps to keep items from skidding around in your truck bed and suffering damage. Sliding cargo can also cause an uneven distribution of weight in the back of your truck. Steering and braking are more difficult if the load in your truck bed isn't evenly distributed. The BedRug helps to keep your load where you put it, giving you better control of your truck. The soft padding is also friendly to your knees when you're working in your truck bed or crawling around under your camper shell.

Using a shovel on a Bed Rug Bed Liner

The BedRug works as hard as it plays. You can haul concrete, gravel, lumber, mulch and more without harming your BedRug liner. Its UV-resistant surface can stand up to shoveling and other heavy-duty use. It even resists battery acid, oil and bleach.

Powerwashing a BedRug bed liner

BedRug doesn't absorb liquids - water runs right off the waterproof foam - so you can hose it off, let it dry and sit in it later for your tailgate BBQ. It also resists mildew and won't stain.

The BedRug's customized fit and simple, do-it-yourself installation mean that you get a smooth, snug liner for your truck bed. You can remove and reinstall factory tie-downs through the BedRug or just cut small slits so that they fit through the liner. The BedRug comes in five pieces that zip together and install with hook-and-loop strips similar to Velcro.

BedRug bed liner hauling lumber

This liner is perfect for people who use their truck on the job and for fun. It lets you use your truck bed as padded seating at the beach or as safe transport for your antiques and collectibles. Pets love the soft lounging surface, and their scratching won't damage it. Haul a load of lumber in the morning and then spread out a sleeping bag at night for some truck-bed stargazing.

How BedRug Compares to Spray-In or Drop-In Bed Liners

Besides offering a high-end look for your truck compared to other types of bed liners, the BedRug offers a slip-resistant, cushioned surface to help protect what you carry in the back of your truck. Spray-on or drop-in liners don't offer the same level of shock absorption and skid prevention for your load.

BedRug installation doesn't require the surface-prep sanding that spray-on liners need, so it won't damage your truck bed's paint finish, and it can be removed later if needed. This means that you can install the BedRug quickly and easily - no need to pay someone else or bother with a service appointment.

Drop-in liners tend to scratch your paint finish as they vibrate in the back of your truck, and when water gets trapped between a drop-in liner and your truck bed, rust can result. The soft surface of the BedRug won't scratch your bed. And because BedRug doesn't absorb water and dries quickly, it helps to prevent rust.

Spray-in or drop-in bed liners can crack and fade, suffering the wear and tear of normal use. BedRug stands up to heavy-duty use without the surface degrading.

Video Transcript for BedRug Custom Truck Bed Liner Installation - 2013 Ford F-150

Today on our 2013 Ford F150 we'll be installing the BedRug Custom Truck Bed Liner for trucks with bare beds or spray-in liners, part number BRQ04SCK. We'll first need to make sure the bed of our pick up truck is free from any dust, dirt and debris. We'll be using a simple cleaner to spray in your bed and wipe down any grime or dirt. This will make sure that all the adhesive taping on the bed liner adheres to the bed correctly. With the bed of our pick up truck clean, we're going to go ahead and pre-assemble the BedRug. What we're going to do is we're going to align the sides or walls of the BedRug with the bottom portion of the BedRug.

When doing this, you need to make sure that the top portion of the BedRug, or the fuzzy part, is facing downward. Next, align the sidewalls with the bottom portion zippers of the BedRug. We'll then locate the ends of the zipper, hook one end in place and zip it around. Next, we're going to go ahead and install the fasteners onto the BedRug. We're going to attach the two 1 x 36 inch and the 1 x 60 inch hooks to the underside of the BedRug. We'll start off with the fasteners with the red backing.

These are the 32 inch long strips which we'll connect here. We'll start at one end and connect them all the way down. Once you have the strips in place, do not remove the backing as that will lose the adhesiveness on the back of the strip. We're going to repeat the same process for the other side. With the two 32 inch strips installed, we're ready to install the 60 inch strips.

We'll take the first 60 inch strip and, back here on the tailgate pad, we'll set this on the rear part of the tailgate strip. With that one in place, we'll move up to the front. The second 60 inch strip will go on the top portion of the back part of the pad up here, the cab. With these in place, we'll go ahead and install the 2 inch strips. I'm going to go ahead and measure this to make sure I can evenly space out my strips. We're going to repeat the same process for the bottom strip.

At the tailgate assembly, we'll go ahead and install our 2 inch strips on this top portion of this fuzzy side. Next we'll start here, which this should be the wall at the end of your truck bed near the tailgate. Then we'll go to the top strip and repeat the same process. We'll then repeat the same process for the bottom strip. With this done, we'll repeat the same process for the other side. Now that we have all the strips in place on the underside of our BedRug, our vehicle is equipped with factory tie down points. We're going to remove these, place in our BedRug, and then reinstall the factory tie down points. We'll repeat these steps for all three of the other anchor points. Now we'll go ahead and turn the BedRug inside out. With it like this, we'll go ahead and place this part into the pickup truck. We'll then tuck all the edges underneath the bed rails of our pickup truck, making sure that the custom-fit rug contours to the wheel well and all the different channels inside the bed. Now the BedRug in place and all of our edges tucked in, I'm going to go ahead and push the mat up towards the cab of the truck to kind of eliminate any of the slack that is up here on this piece of the BedRug. Now we're ready to adhere it to the truck. We'll go ahead and pull one of the edges of the BedRug out, exposing the strip on the bottom which will adhere to the bottom of the pick up truck. This is the adhesive backing which we're going to pull off, but what we're going to do is we're going to map where the strip is going to lay and then clean it off with some alcohol on a towel. This is going to make sure that that adhesive backing on those strips stick to the bed really good. Now we'll go ahead and pull off the backing and stick it to the bed of the truck. Then we'll walk it in, reducing as much slack as possible, and make sure we get a nice fit. You want to kind of put pressure on it for about 10 to 15 seconds, making sure that the adhesive sticks to the bed of the truck. With that done, we'll repeat the same process for the other side. With the two bottom strips in place, we're going to start up at the panel next to the cab. We're going to start with the bottom adhesive strips and then work our way to the top, still making sure that we're cleaning off any point where the attachment is going to hit the cab with some alcohol. With this done, we'll go ahead and remove the backing from the adhesive strips, making sure when you pull them off that the BedRug doesn't fold back up to the cab and stick without the correct placement. Then I'm going to push all the slack up to get out all the bubbles. I'm going to start one side, go over to the other. All right, with this done, we'll go ahead and do the next layer of strips. Still making sure that when we're adhering them to the metal of the pickup truck, we're cleaning it and pushing out all of the bubbles, creating a nice tight fit. With this done, we'll go ahead and adhere the top of the BedRug to the top rail near the cab. You want to make sure the alcohol dries before you stick your pad up there. We'll go ahead and start on one of the sides and remove the bottom layer of strips to adhere to the vehicle. To prevent any mistakes, I'm just going to pull one adhesive backing at a time. Now we'll go to the very very top strip, which will adhere underneath the rail of the truck bed. Up here on the rear towards the tailgate, we'll go ahead and clean off this side. This plastic bed rail cover does lift up, so we're going to have to fit this underneath this plastic piece to help give it a nice clean custom look. We'll then repeat the same process for the other side of the vehicle, remembering, starting at the bottom towards the cab working your way up and out. With everything in the bed secured, we're ready to affix the tailgate pad to the tailgate. We'll go ahead and remove the adhesive backing. The sticky adhesive backing is not designed to stick to plastic, so if your pickup truck has a plastic cap, which goes on top of the tailgate, you'll need to stick the top portion of the tailgate pad on the sheet metal just below the plastic cap and then tuck the remaining slack into the gap between the tailgate and the truck bed. With our BedRug all installed, we're going to reinstall the manufacturer's anchor points here into the pre-drilled holes. What we're going to do is we're going to peel back one side wall of the BedRug, locate the holes, and then using a punch, we're going to punch through it and reinstall our hardware. With this done, we'll go ahead and repeat the same process for all three of the other manufacturer's anchor points. The BedRug can be easily removed from the pickup truck bed by simply undoing the hook and loop fasteners which secure the BedRug to the pickup truck. This will free up your truck bed for alternate uses. That will complete today's installation of the BedRug Custom Truck Bed Liner, part number BRQ04SCK. .

These are excellent, wish I would have bought one years ago. I have a cap on the back and this makes it nice and comfortable for truck camping as well as holds up for hauling items and keeping them from sliding around. Will definitely be in every truck I buy going forward.

by:

Fit remarkably well. Even though manufacture didn't recommend trucks with 5th wheel package. I made some adjustments to fit my gooseneck tow package. I like the way it looks and feels.

by:

Fits great, my stuff doesn't slide around and has held up well.

by:

The product is high quality, durable material. It fits well and is made with precision. Delivery was timely and it was well packaged. I found lots of detailed instructions and a video online, including the brief installation instructions in the box. It was important to have carefully reviewed all of these before starting installation. This install took a lot longer than expected in order to meticulously follow all instructions.
The problem I have is with the velcro adhesive tape used to hold the Bedrug to my Honda truck bed. I followed every direction very carefully to the letter. Despite all my efforts to ensure the tape would attach properly, several of the white-backed tape strips, particularly the long edges at the tailgate and in-bed trunk failed to completely adhere. Both have been peeling up and been a total pain to keep in place. Also, the sidewall needs additional attachment points around the light cutouts and power outlet access door to remain secured. The kit should have only the high strength (Red) tape for a better installation.

This has been my third BedRug that I have installed in my trucks, as always the fit and finish is perfect! I think this is the most versatile bed protector on the market. I would recommend BedRug to anyone in need of a bed protector.

by:

I love this bedliner. It’s very easy on the knees I can climb around in the back of the bed and it’s great.
I have hauled dirt and bark. I do put a tarp down but it never catches all of it. I just get most of it out and then get the vacuum out and clean it up. This is the only liner I will ever put in the back of a pick up again

by:

I love it, easy to install, looks good, easy on my old knees, easy to clean an keeps things from sliding around the bed, I highly recommend it!

by:

For this truck, I wanted to try something different from the usual hard plastic bed liners or the rough spray-in products. Initially, I'd thought of just a rubber bed mat... But then I discovered the BedRug full bed liner. This product provides a real high-class look, while being durable when necessary. It's a great addition to the retractable hard cover we have also installed!

by:

The directions that came with the product were useless, Youtube to the rescue. The fit was not as good as I had hoped, there were wrinkles on the sides, and there are places where the sides zip together that liquids will be able to get underneath the bed rug. I am concerned that the zippers may rub the paint off the floor of my truck. I do like that the rug covers the gap between the floor and the tailgate when the tailgate is open. I am not impressed with the product and would not recommend to anyone.

by:

The bedrug is a great product. Love the price & the ease of the installation.

by:

Delivery took only a few days, price was better than my local truck accessories shop. I have a BedRug on my 2012 F150 and I love it. Have yet to install this on my F350 but I'm sure it will be as good as the first. It definitely makes camping in the bed much more comfortable. It also makes loading and unloading the bed easier on your knees. Thanks eTrailer.com!!

by:

Great product! Had one in my previous truck. Easy to install, looks great, optimal protection & easy on the knees when crawling around inside the bed. Wouldn't consider putting anything else on my truck bed! Professional, courteous & quick shipping from "etrailer" was a bonus. Will continue purchases from them in the future!

by:

The staff @ E-trailer did an excellent job keeping me informed of the order status and delivery status of all the items I ordered. The items all came in in great condition and functioned as they were suppose to.

by:

it went very smoothly. i never thought it would go as easy as the video , but i was pleasently surprised just how easy it was! being as my truck has a cap on it with windows, i am doing a little modification to "conceal" my stuff in the back of my truck. when i am done , i will send you pictures! thank you again for everything!

by:

Other than replacing a couple of velcro supports, the bed liner is great!

by:

I have been very pleased with this product. It lives up to the description of the product on their website. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend. I have used this in my truck to haul kayaks, firewood, and supplies and it still looks like new. Thanks
Greg

by:

Great people to work with. I dealt with Jake Hermann. He was extremely helpful and made sure it was all installed correctly. Fit like a glove.

by:

This is my fourth Bedrug—love the great KNEE PADDING in the truck bed floor—for my NEW KNEES! Great sound abatement too!

by:

Great product, not to hard to install, I've done 3 of them so I am getting faster at it...I love having this in my trucks as it keeps things clean and not sliding around...highly recommended.

by:

I'll never own another truck without one! We absolutely love it and it was simple to install (pro tip: install prior to a couple HOT days so the wrinkles it has from being packaged smooth themselves out)

by:

Great product, quality material and it fits like a glove. A year later and still looks like new.

by:

Awesome product, awesome fit!

by:

had this in my previous Tacoma, so happy got it again for my new Tacoma.

by:

Excellent product...very happy with it....exceeded expectations

by:
