This wheel has a durable acrylic enamel finish on the front. The finish is applied after the wheel goes through an environmentally safe zinc phosphate pre-treatment and is coated with an e-coat primer layer. Compared to powder coat finishes, this finish resists getting chipped from flying road debris or scraped from hitting a curb for a longer period of time. These acrylic enamel wheels performed for more than 1,000 hours in salt spray tests.
The stud holes on this steel wheel are beveled to ensure that the wheel stays tight against your trailer hub. This also eliminates the need to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Taskmaster 14 inch by 6 inch Vesper White Modular Steel Trailer Wheel with a 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now, this is a heavy-duty steel wheel, has the modular design with a nice white finish to it. When we say modular design, that's the one that has the round holes all the way around the wheel. Now, this uses a white acrylic enamel finish to help resist chipping and other damage better than your standard powder coat finishes. The finish is applied after a zinc phosphate pretreatment, and it covers with an E-coat primer layer.
Does give you excellent corrosion resistance with a salt spray rating of more than 1,000 hours. Now, the lug nut holes on this wheel, they are beveled, help keep your wheel securely in place on your trailer hub, eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. If you noticed also, the valve stem is installed, it's included. Now, this does not come with a center cap, if you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website, they're usually listed on the product page as related product, but you do wanna make sure you get one that'll have a diameter that'll fit this pilot hole here, and the diameter on that is 3.27 inches, 'cause your center cap will go through the back of here and then stick out and install just like that, so you do wanna make sure to get a center cap that will have a diameter of 3.27 inches. Now, this wheel does meet the SAE J1204 standards.
Few measurements on this, we're gonna measure the diameter, which is 14 inches, and that's always measured inside to inside. So if we take our tape measure, if we go across, you can see there's your 14 inch diameter. The width will be the same way, it's measured inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat, so again, if we put our tape measures, six inches wide. Now, the bolt pattern on this wheel is a 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern, and if you wanna measure the bolt pattern on this wheel that's an odd number of lugs, what you'll need to do is pick any hole, let's say this hole, and then you'll measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure it, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of the hole that you measure to, so when you measure this, it'll measure 4 1/2 inches, so that means this will be a 5 lug, 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern.
Does use a wheel lug size of a 1/2 inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,200 pounds. But that should do it for the review on this Taskmaster 14 inch by 6 inch Vesper White Modular Steel Trailer Wheel with the 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern..

I purchased this wheel a year ago. It's been on my tandem axle dually trailer since I received it. It has performed as it should have. I only use the trailer occasionally to haul 12 ton loads with no problems. This was a hard to find wheel because of the unusual offset and back spacing. This is a quality wheel with no issues. The info on the etrailer site allowed me to positively identify the correct wheel to match up with the other 7 on the trailer. If you need this wheel, etrailer is the ONLY place you will find this high QUALITY wheel at a reasonable price!
Well made and a perfect upgrade for my weekend warrior that was previously equipped with 15" wheels .
Upgrading to 16" wheels made the tire selection much better.
Overall, disappointed. Was priced right and shipped fast. But the paint is all chipped on the front edge of the rim and the back side isn't even painted. This is going to be a spare,but I don't need it to rust on day 2. On a positive it did come with a steel stem already installed.

The rims were packed well and in good condition, delivery was fast only took 2 days to arrive. the fit was perfect. This was now an ordinary trailer it was a specialized piece of equipment.
The wheels look great and will be a welcome addition to my trailer. The packaging is good as the wheels arrived in good condition, however I have a suggestion: how about a label instructing the removal of the staples in the sides of the box before removing wheels. One of the pieces of cardboard had pulled loose in transit and I slightly scratched 1 wheel when lifting it out of the box. Otherwise all is ok and I will recommend you to friends. Thanks!
The rims fit the hubs and now I'm awaiting the 10 ply tires to install on them. The color matches the RV.
