This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Aluminum Liger Trailer Wheel. Now, this aluminum wheel with the Liger Series 5-spoke design in black is durable, lightweight, and rustproof. The automotive grade clear coat on the front protects against scuffs and scratches, and this aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. These inserts are actually pressed into the aluminum and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This is going to ensure that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retort the lug nuts. If you also notice the valve stem is included and this wheel does meet DOT standards and SAE J1204 standards.
Now, the rim dimensions, beginning with the diameter, measuring bead seat to bead seat, we're sitting right at 14 inches on that diameter. And then, the width, again, from bead seat to bead seat is at five inches. So, 14 inches in diameter and five inches wide, and the bolt pattern is five on four and a half inches. And in case you don't know, the first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes and then the second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which these bolt holes sit. So, to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, as we have here, you're simply going to measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first.
The wheel stud size is a half an inch by 20, and this wheel has a capacity of 2,200 pounds and the center cap is sold separately, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits the pilot diameter of 3.19 inches. Have had these wheels on my enclosed trailer for a year now and they are great. No complaints and no rust.
Had a horrible blow out on our camper that ruined our rim. I had my new rim in 3 days and was able to get new tire on it so I would have my spare coming home. The whole process was very quick and rim is perfect.
I think you need to pack Aluminum wheels better.
