Specs:
The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
Pedestal mount trailer lights install standing up from the mounting point. And mounting hardware, typically one or two bolts, is used to secure the light to the trailer.

Today we're going to be reviewing part number STL53ARPB. This is the dual-faced red and amber post-mounted LED light for the right-hand side of your trailer. It's going to feature the dual face design. This is for the passenger side trailer light. The red side is going to serve three functions, such as your stop, turn and tail light and the amber side is going to serve two functions, such as your park light and rear turn signal light. It's also going to feature the built-in amber side marker light with the Reflex reflector. This unit's going to feature the long-lasting LEDs that are great replacements for incandescent lights.
They're going to feature a multi-diode design that's going to optimize your light output. You don't have to worry about replacing any bulbs and you don't have to worry about any brittle filaments. The LED system is going to be more efficient, which means it's going to provide a brighter light while using less power. It does have a corrosion-resistant design when it comes to the construction of the housing. Here at the bottom of the post you can see that it's going to expose a three-wire design. It's going to include your red wire for your stop and turn signal, your black wire, which is basically just your power lead, and then your white wire, which is going to be your ground wire and it has a little ring terminal on there.
That way you can attach it to any surface. This is Department of Transportation-compliant, so it meets FMVSS108 requirements in any 360-degree position. It's a nice square light. If we take a look at the overall measurements, it's going to give us a measurement of 4 1/2 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches tall. Now if we measure to the bottom of the housing, it's got a little lip down here, and it's going to extend our measurement to 4 3/4 inches tall. If we take a look at the depth, that's going to give us a measurement of about 2 and 1/4 of an inch. It's going to contain 42 total diodes, which are going to be the LED units.
That's going to be 21 LEDs per side. Here on the red side, the power draw for the stop signal is going to be 0.182 amps at 12.8 volts and for the tail light function, it's going to 0.012 amps at 12.8 volts. For the amber side, it's going to be 0.215 amps at 12.8 volts. Again, this is a pedestal mount installation. You're going to get the hardware that you need, so you're going to get a rubber flat washer, a regular flat washer. You're going to get a lock washer and you're going to get the nut.
The length of that pedestal is going to measure right at 2 inches. We're going to go and hook it up to our external power source. That way you can see what it looks like with power running to it, and with our overhead lights turned off. We're going to go ahead and make the ground connection which, again, is just the white wire. Then we'll connect the power lead, the black wire, and the stop and turn signal with the red wire. That power lead is just going to provide the power to the tail light function. You can see here it's going to send out a nice consistent LED signal. You've got the side marker light there and then you have the amber side as well. Really, I guess you're going to have 21 diodes per side and it looks like you're going have three for the side marker. Here on the red side, again, this side's going to provide three functions. You're going to have the tail light function, you're going to have your stop function. You can see how that illuminates for a brighter signal, and you're going to have the turn signal function. Here on the amber side you can see there that when we apply the turn signals, it's going to light up as well. The LED system is going to provide a nice consistent light and a very quick response time. That's going to do it for today's review of part number STL53ARPB. This is the dual-faced red and amber post-mount LED light for the right-hand side of your trailer. .

Single post mount. 3-Wire design. The LED light itself is great. Wiring/Mounting this unit was nothing short of a royal PAIN. I would not buy these again as a result.
Super bright and easy to install. Hope the chrome plate (on plastic) holds up to the weather. Wish these came in black.
This was a total rebuild of my triple axle trailer. I purchased several items for my boat trailer and have been very please with them.
The items were as as advertised and delivered in a timely manner.
The staff at "etrailer" is very courteous & knowledgeable.
I will continue to do business with "etrailer" as the need arises (hopefully I will not have to rebuild the trailer again).
Everything was received in good order and in a timely fashion. I am pleased with the quality out of the box. I have not installed anything yet, but I anticipate that going well too. I read several reviews prior to ordering and my expectations were met in a very positive way. My initial experience has been very good. Thanks for the good service so far.
Met our expectations. Very happy
Great product. Fast shipping.
Nice bright lights.
All as described, well-packed.
