Installed by myself in 30 minutes including time for cleaning factory holes. I also used loctite gel to secure the bolts. I found etrailer on youtube and found the videos very informative and installing a belief that I could do it myself. I used the hitch to pull a 1200 lb stump grinder from the local equipment rental. I own a 2007 dodge nitro. The wiring harness took longer just running and hiding the hotwire to the battery. Thanks etrailer!!!
Excellent product and service. Delivery was fast and instructions were perfect. I purchased the hitch to install on a 12 year old vehicle. The mounting nuts were extremely rusty. I followed the recommendation provided by etrailer to chase the threads with a tap. It worked perfectly and installation was a breeze.
This hitch receiver works great. Installation was simple to install but took much longer than what the videos imply. Cleaning and preparing the sockets to receive the new bolts that hold on the hitch receiver took longer and more difficult than expected.
The hitch receiver worked fine. Unfortunately I know longer have the Dodge Nitro and have the hitch receiver for sale.
I have never reviewed any product I ever purchased off the internet before. However, I researched a lot of class III hitches for my 07 Dodge Nitro and I settled on this product because of the price and added customer support from this retailer. As usual, my expectations were met. The main reason for an excellent rating is not so much the product but the retailer. This year is 2015, which makes my Nitro eight years old. If it wasn't for the great instruction videos from Etrailer.com, I would have had an impossible time consuming task mounting this hitch. But, having watched these instruction videos, I was able to anticipate all potential installation problems and was prepared. A word of caution to any potential customers with a vehicle as old as mine; you will have to tap all your holes and the one bolt holding the bracket - have at least a 24 inch breaker bar ready. Thank you Etrailer.com for all your very helpful instructions. You went above and beyond what any other retailer would have done.
The hitch itself is very nice but the bolts that came with it were wrong and did not fit so I had to go to hardware store and buy 6 new ones to fit and they only had Stainless steel at a cost of $[XX].
This receiver was a breeze to install. Lots of room to work within, and the class 3 will work very well for light duty towing and for mounting my bike rack. Tubular style reciever hitch looks great under the bumber, and requires no cutting of plastic bumper cover.
the "Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" - 13334" was extremely easy to install. all the hardware (bolts/washers) were included and the directions were easy to follow. The "Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver" bolted on in the factory holes in the frame. installation time was less then 30 minutes.

Trailer Hitch was installed in less than 30 min. Great product to pull my boat. Simple installation took longer to clean out thread then put on the hitch. Now for wiring harness it took four hours to install trying to find place to wire tie the wire. But it finally was completed. Thanks for the fast service. Vic
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13334 was quite simple to install; six bolts and you're done. Haven't had a chance to connect the wiring yet, but looks pretty straightforward. Etrailer has great communication, prompt shiopping, and great prices! Thank you.
