With 2 receivers, you can tow a trailer and carry a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. And if you have a truck bed camper, this hitch has pre-drilled mounting points for TorkLift's super-sturdy camper tie-towns (sold separately). You can also add one of TorkLift's SuperTruss hitch extensions (sold separately) to extend the top receiver of the SuperHitch so that it clears your camper, allowing you to tow your trailer while your camper's installed.

If you're really just interested in doing dome heavy-duty towing, add on the TorkLift Everest weight distribution system (TLWD100 - sold separately), which is designed exclusively for SuperHitch hitches, and you can max out the 17,000-lb weight capacity of the hitch.

Truck Bed Camper Compatibility

TorkLift is known for their truck camper tie-down systems and other camper accessories, so it just makes sense that they would have camper enthusiasts in mind when designing a trailer hitch. Each SuperHitch is built with integrated mounting points for TorkLift camper tie-downs, making it easier than ever to get a quality tie-down system for your slide-in camper.

TorkLift SuperTruss in SuperHitch

The dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch also makes it easy to tow with your truck bed camper in place. The SuperTruss line of high-capacity hitch extenders is specially designed to extend the hitch receiver back far enough to clear your bed-mounted camper, while still allowing for an excellent towing capacity. An ordinary hitch extender typically dramatically reduces your towing capacity. But each SuperTruss extension forms such a solid connection with the SuperHitch that the setup is able to maintain one of the highest weight capacities in the industry. When used with a standard weight distribution system, the setup can maintain up to a 10,000-lb weight limit, even with an extension that is 60" long. As a result, you can clear almost any truck-bed camper and still do some heavy-duty towing.

Dual Receivers for Maximum Versatility

With the SuperHitch from TorkLift, you can tow your trailer and use a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. This is thanks to the dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch.

Most trailer hitches have a single receiver. Typically, you can find an adapter or extension piece that will slide into your hitch to give you 2 receivers, but these adapters dramatically reduce both your towing capacity and your tongue weight, limiting how much you can tow as well as how much you can carry with a bike rack or cargo carrier. Each SuperHitch is specially constructed to maintain a high weight capacity so that you can use the 2 receivers without sacrificing towing or carrying ability.

2006 Dodge Ram Pickup

The hitch came in 2 boxes. There were no missing parts. I installed it using the 1 person instructions. The written instructions are good, the pictures are terrible. I would suggest watching the u-tube video before starting.
I took off the custom bumper, this made it much easier to install with everything wide open. Because I literally ripped off the factory bolted on unit, repairs needed to be made. This meant that the entire job took the entire weekend. I do not think This hitch will be easy to tear off the back of the truck considering it has 3 times the fasteners of the factory hitch. It looks good with the custom bumper as well.

Yes, it has been a year. Absolutely no issues. It has handled everything I have to tow with ease. I am pleased that the finish is still holding strong. The only NOT important issue is that I have a tendency to hit things with the lower of the 2 receivers when backing into parking spots. For me, the hitch was worth the investment.

Bought this for my Dodge Ram 2500 to pull 25’ boat to show in TN last year and have my truck camper on my truck. Worked way better than I expected. Also bought wiring harness. Very pleased.

The gal that took my order over the phone was probably the nicest person I've talked to in awhile on ordering something. Very professional and personable. Thank you very much

Dodge Ram Pickup

I wish I would've bought this hitch earlier than I did. It is worth every penny you pay for it, not only in safety, but peace of mind in knowing that what you are towing is as secure as it can be. I have a professional welder friend who helped me fabricate a hitch with a long extension so I could pull my boat behind a Dodge Ram 3500 with a camper on it. It showed signs of stress and wear so I installed the super hitch and after a year I am completely satisfied with the quality and dependability of this hitch.

2011 Dodge Ram Pickup

This hitch fit my 2011 Ram 3500 fine. The original hitch had been removed to facilitate adding a Ranch Hand rear bumper. I am 64 yrs and was able to mount by myself using the one man mount instructions. It cleared the bumper fine and bolted up to my frame. I drilled 2 holes in the bumper bracket to mount the front straps because they didn't match up with anything.
I had previously mounted a Helwig swaybar and had to remove the frame mounts for it, and once the hitch was on the Helwig bolted up to it very nicely, a cleaner install.
The spare tire is a bear to get up in there now because of all the stuff around it now, but doable. I hadnt heard of Torklift until recently and am a fan of their products now!

by:

Love it. Now I need to make my truck a dually. Camper and trailer over load the rear tires

by:

I am grateful for the help I received with my order and that the items came so quickly. Now I just have to wait for the outside temperature to warm up a little so I can get them installed. Thank you!!

  • Recommended Torklift Hitch for a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500
I have a solution for you but the Torklift superhitch item # TLF1002-30 fits Ford trucks. For your 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 we have a couple of options and it will depend on whether or not your truck has the factory hitch. If your Ram truck does not have the factory hitch installed you will want the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch item # TLD1101. If your Ram does have the factory hitch you will want the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch item # TLD1102-30.

  • How to Use the TorkLift SuperTruss on a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500
In order to use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension part # TLE1548 on your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 you will need to remove the factory hitch and install the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLD1101. There are no other options to use any of the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extensions on your Dodge Ram 3500. The Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41929 would most likely not work with the factory trailer hitch and even if it were to the receiver tube...

The TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLD1101 that you referenced has two 2 inch hitch openings stacked on top of each other. It is in the Class V category that includes 2-1/2 inch and high capacity 2 inch hitches. I apologize for the confusion there.

  • Recommended TorkLift SuperHitch for a 2010 Dodge Ram 3500
I do have an option for you but the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLD1100 will not fit your 2010 Dodge Ram 3500. This hitch is only designed to fit a Dodge Ram 3500 from 1994-2002. Instead, I recommend using the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLD1101 if you do not have a factory hitch or part # TLD1102 if you do have a factory hitch. • Recommended Weight Distribution System for a 15,600 GTW Car Hauler
To determine the correct Weight Distribution (WD) system for your application you will first need to find what your Total Tongue Weight (TTW) is. Your TTW can be found by adding the Tongue Weight (TW) of your fully loaded and ready-to-tow trailer along with the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. You will then want to pick a system that has a TW range that your TTW falls in the middle of. Keep in mind that your trailer TW should be 10-15% of your loaded trailer...

Your Torklift Talon mounts will not be compatible with an aftermarket hitch like the Draw-Tite Class V # DT45509. You would use the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Rear # TLR3500 for that application. To utilize your TorkLift Talon Tie-Downs # TLR3503A, you would need to use the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - Dual 2" Receivers # TLD1101 on your truck as the trailer hitch receiver.

Then for an air bag kit that is compatible with both of the hitches mentioned we have the Firestone Ride Rite part # F2299. The Firestone bags are widely considered to be the highest quality so we recommend them the highest. If you wanted to go with an Air Lift kit the part # AL57295 would also work.

The longest hitch extender that is available for the Class IV 2 inch hitch on your 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 is going to be an 18 inch like part # C45796.
