This fully welded trailer hitch receiver bolts onto your vehicle's frame with no welding required. Matte black, powder coated steel is durable and corrosion resistant and creates a rugged look.I'm impressed, clean and sturdy construction, faster shipping than Amazon, quick and easy to bolt on. My van had a small receiver already on it, I ended up cutting 3 of the 4 bolts off with a cut off wheel. And I needed to drill out the third bolt hole just slightly to get the new bolts in. Suggestions: if your existing hitch bolts spin without coming undone try shoving one of the provided capture plates washers into the frame rail to get the nut off without needing angle grinder. And if your rails are too wide for the new washers just add one of the old ones, or any piece of hard stuff, to shim the space and keep the carriage bolt from spinning while you torque on the nuts. And of course it is easier to have a floor jack to lift the receiver into place. Overall a very straightforward install process, didn't even need to jack up the van, definitely worth it.
Correct product, fast delivery, hitch fit perfectly, no modifications needed, total time from opening box to tightening last bolt probably 30 minutes. Great updated and follow up from time order placed, until delivery. Very happy with this company.

Really nice hitch.......fit Perfectly......took about 45 minutes to install...Easy......Almost all of the hitch is covered by the plastic bumper, only the very center even shows at all....Looks like a CUSTOM hitch! This went on my 2010 GMC Conversion Van......Look at the final pictures...
All of a sudden, my 2014 Chevy van dealer installed hitch started showing wear at the towing pin holes. What was round was starting to mushroom and become more oval. My local only trailers type shop wanted $500 plus to install new hitch. etrailers price was way cheaper and reviews lived up to their comments. It was easy and all holes aligned. You better have a floor jack and consider your options on the plug location.

If you order this for a Chevrolet Express van you will need the 1” x 3” spacers . The spacers that come as standard hardware will spin in the frame and you will have trouble getting the bolts tight. Once you get the right spacers it is an easy install and the hitch is very nice. If anyone from etrailer is reading this you should change the hardware that ships with the hitch to the 1” x 3” spacers.
The hitch came very quickly, easy to install and looks very well made.
I needed to replace my trailer hitch. The price was right, delivery was ahead of schedule and the all the parts were there. I need to wait until the weather clears to install but I don't anticipate any problems as the bolt pattern matches the trailer hitch I removed.
So far I have hauled horse trailers, car trailers, junk trailers and more. This hitch has worked effortlessly with my Express Van to expand my capabilities. Easy to install, I have not had to worry about it ever since. And with a load rating of 10,000 pounds my van will fail before the hitch is exceeded.

I received my hitch today, and had it installed within about 15 minutes. The only challenge was that a few of the rectangular washers slipped when I tried to tighten the bolts - even after cleaning the mating surfaces; crafting a few "washers" out of 50-grit sandpaper solved the problem.
After installation, I used my label maker to conspicuously note the torque specs for future reference; you might want to consider adding such a label directly to the hitch for future customers.

No worries all is well. I crawled under our van with a torque wrench, and it was handy to have a label that specified the torque right there where I could see it.
Exactly what we needed I was not only surprised it arrived so quickly, I was amazed the hitch was so easy to install. I bolted right up to the underside with the hardware included into the holes predrilled into the frame by the vehicle manufacturer. If you have and worries about it being difficult, put them aside. it took us less than 20 minutes.
