Yes, you will still be able to use your hands free lift gate with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C22HR installed on your 2023 Acura MDX. The sensor is offset from the factory as they designed it to work with the factory receiver as well.

I recommend installing the Vehicle Wiring Harness # C59236 when you install the receiver. This is a custom fit wiring harness which will use the factory connectors to install on your 2023 Acura MDX.
