Powder coated steel is sturdy and corrosion resistant.Ordered a Curt trailer hitch for my 1999 Durango and it fit as advertised. Installation took me only about 10 minutes after I removed the spare tire. I have access to a lift so I would add an additional 10-20 minutes if I was using jack stands. I haven't towed anything yet, but it appears to be quality material. Had one minor issue with the UPS people, but it was not due to etrailer. I ordered the hitch after working hours and it was shipped early the next morning. Oh, most importantly, the shipping was free and their price was well below anyone else, including other sites. I will gladly do future business with etrailer!
