Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 15 foot long Stick On Rubber Door or Compartment Seal for RVs and trailers. Now, this rubber seal is used to prevent water from leaking into your doors or your hatches on your RV or trailer, and it can also be used on storage compartments. This will help protect your RV from extreme weather and pest, and it does use an EPDM dense rubber construction, so it won't shrink, crack, or fade over time, and it is resistant to UV damage. Now, it is peel-and-stick installation, has the pre-applied 3M adhesive backing to it. Basically, you just simply peel off the backing paper and then apply the seal where it need to.
Now, they do recommend surface preparation to remove any old adhesive first, and then go ahead and stick this on, and you can use scissors to just trim any extra seal when you need to. Now, this seal also features the skirted peel-and-stick recessed adhesive design, and I even wanna zoom in further, so we can talk about that. If I show you the cutaway of this, if you noticed the adhesive tape at the bottom, but if you look on each side of it, this seal comes all the way down the side and around that adhesive, so that skirting that's around the recessed adhesive tape will protect that adhesive from collecting moisture and debris, giving a nice finished look when the seal is in place. Now, the dimensions on this again, overall length is 15 foot long, the width of it is a half inch wide, overall height is 7/16 inches of an inch tall, and this part is made in the USA.
