Paneloc Trailer Door Latch - F719-182Z104

Spring latch is ideal for securing large trailer tailgates, ramps, and other heavy-duty doors. Set the latch in the open position while the tailgate is open, and it will easily slide into the keeper once closed. Designed for left side of tailgate.
Features:
- Spring-loaded latch keeps large trailer tailgates, ramps, and other heavy-duty doors closed
- Pull latch until it clears your keeper to open
- Release latch inside of the keeper to close
- Extended handle makes it easy to latch and unlatch
- Left-hand configuration for mounting to the driver's side of your trailer
- Holdback pin lets you secure latch in open position
- Pull pin to open and twist to maneuver holdback pin into the cutout
- Cone-style latch pin slides into keeper even if you don't line it up perfectly
- Angled edges function as guides to help ease the pin into the keeper
- 2-Hole mounting plate for secure, bolt-on installation
- Mounting hardware not included
- Zinc-plated steel construction is corrosion resistant

The only option you have to obtain a greater extension would be to go to the next size up which is the Paneloc Heavy Duty Spring Latch part # F720-182Z105 for left hand or part # F720-172Z105 for right hand that has a 1/2" diameter pin with 1-1/2" extension.
