Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Ksource custom and extendable towing mirror for the passenger side of your vehicle. This product fits certain years and models of the Ford F-150. To make sure that this is a fit for your vehicle, you can use the vehicle fit guide, which is located at etrailer.com.The extendable towing mirror replaces the factory side view mirror on your vehicle. With this mirror, there's no need for a snap-on or strap-on mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off every time you're ready to tow. It features a telescoping function that makes it easy to see around the side of your trailer so you can safely change lanes, pass, and park. When you're ready to take use of that function, all you have to do is pull the mirror away from your vehicle to extend your line of sight.

Then when you're not towing, just push the mirror back into place. It's really nice, easy function to operate.Also, it features power mirror adjustments. That's gonna let you change the mirror face position using the factory power controls from inside your vehicle. This unit also features the heated mirror glass, which does a great job at clearing frost and ice, and it really reduces fogging.The amber light, located right here on the bottom of the mirror, lights up when your turn signal is activated. Then on the very bottom, we have the puddle lamp, which illuminates the area directly under the mirror.

Located at the bottom, we have the built-in spotter mirror that's designed to reduce blind spots. This unit is on a hinged mechanism, so that allows you to fold the mirror up against the vehicle for parking or for fitting into tight spaces.The housing is a durable plastic construction. It has a really nice textured black finish on it. It's gonna match your vehicle perfectly. It is custom fit for your vehicle.

It's a simple no-drill installation. It uses the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror, and then the mirror plugs in to the existing electrical wiring.When it comes to the mirror face dimensions, we took specific measurements of this for you. In the main mirror right here has an overall height measurement of 6 1/4 inches tall. This mirror, the spotter mirror, has a height of 3 inches. Then the width, from side to side, just measuring the mirror, is about 8 inches wide.

When it's retracted like this, the distance from the edge of the mirror to the vehicle is 19 inches. Then when it's extended, that increases to 22 1/2 inches.This unit is FMVSS-approved, and just keep in mind that the power remote capability, heated glass, turn signal, and puddle lamp of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions.
