Today, we're going to take a look at the Bulldog Winch five eight inch diameter by 20 foot long Big Dog kinetic recovery rope. And this has a 12,200 pound breaking strength. Now this is a nice high strength nylon rope. That'll employ kinetic energy buildup to recover your stuck vehicle. This rope is perfect for use on ATVs UTVs or side-by-sides that have a gross vehicle weight rating of up to 4,067 pounds, which is the working load limit of this rope. And this rope does stretch to prevent shock or jarring, which can be caused by using a static tow strap or chain.

The stretch rate on this rope is about 25%. If you notice on the ends, they do have the built-in loops on the ends of the rope that will let you attach to shackles or D-rings on your vehicles. And they do put a polyurethane coating on these loops to protect your attachment points from the scratches and helps prevent any damage to the rope itself.This rope is pretty quick and easy to set up for recovery. All you do is simply connect one end of this to an anchor point on your stuck ATV or UTV use again, a correctly rated bow shackle, which we do sell separately on our website and on the other end, connect this other end to an anchor point on the recovery vehicle using a second bow shackle. With some slack in the rope, you'll basically accelerate the tow vehicle up to about 16 miles per hour.

Then either slow or come to a full stop. Basically what happens is as this rope stretches, it'll build kinetic energy and then this energy is converted to potential energy at the stuck vehicle that potential energy will generate force that'll propel the stuck vehicle forward. One note, I do want to mention when you're using this rope, you must also use all the components that are designed for recovery operations.You do not want to attempt to use your hitch ball for recovery operation. You'll notice it does come with this nice cammo mesh duffle storage bag that you can store your rope in. Again, the specs on this five eight inch diameter, 20 foot long.

Again, the vehicle recovery capacity is 4,067 pounds maximum load or breaking strength is 12,200 pounds, and it is for a quantity of one rope.
