Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Durabilt shackle with the screw pin for slings up to two inches wide. This has a 19,290 pound working load limit. Now, this shackle will serve as a connection point for two pieces of rigging equipment. This will help reduce wear and tear caused by a hook.
You can see it has a nice rounded body, which allows for a wider sling bearing surface and that'll improve load distribution. Help increase the sling efficiency. The screw pin right up here, this makes it very easy to connect and disconnect the shackle. You can see you can just unscrew it to connect it. And then when you're ready to put it back together, just go ahead and, after you made your connection, tighten this back in.
Just thread this all the way down. It is a one inch diameter pin they use. You notice the shackle itself is a nice red finish, which makes it highly visible. And this will meet or exceed the ASME requirements. Few specs on this, the application again, it'll work with web or round slings up to two inches wide.
Has a safe working load limit of 19,290 pounds. It is recommended to use round sling size numbers of either size five or size six with this. The inside height measured from here to up, right up to there, if we get our ruler go on there, it's right at 2 13/16 of an inch. Maximum inside width right down here, the widest point, is gonna be right at 2 3/16 of an inch. Now, if you do go to the product page of this part number, it will offer many more detailed measurements of the shackle if you do need it.

Great, sturdy, quality product. Fair (actually great) price. Excellent value. Once again, however, etrailer did the manufacturer a great disservice thru their haphazard packaging (led to heavy items banging into each other during shipment. It would have only taken 3 minutes to wrap these heavy items in the brown paper that was just stuffed on top of all items in the box. This is the third quality product that I’ve purchased from etrailer in the past 18 months - all haphazardly packaged by etrailer. The most egregious example was a 135-pound 5th Wheel hitch shipped in a cardboard box rated for 100 pounds. C’mon man, does anyone at etrailer read these reviews & share them with their shipping department?
