Today we're taking a look at the Bulldog winch shackle. Now this winch shackle is great for easily connecting cables and strap to your rigging setup. It's made from a durable steel construction, has the screw pin design, so this center area right here unthreads, and then it can be removed. Feature's a really nice zinc coating to resist rust and corrosion. If you look on the actual shackle, you can see there's basically two numbers or indicators engraved. Five-eighth's over here, so this is a five-eighth's shackle and then we have WLL.
That's the working load limit, three and one-quarter ton, which is a working load limit of 6,500 pounds.A few measurements I want to go over with real quick. I did take a measurement inside edge to inside edge here at the widest point. Got a measurement of one and five-eighths inches. From the top of the pin to the bottom of this portion here, measured about two and three-eights of usable space. And then inside edge to inside edge, this gap right here measures about one and one-16th of an inch. That's gonna do it for today's look at the Bulldog winch shackle..
