Today we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson tree tow strap for winching, this is part number 09506. This is a 4in wide 6ft long tree strap. It's designed to connect with a shackle and then connect to your winch so you can free your stuck vehicle. This spreads all of the energy that would normally be just on that narrow wire rope over a greater area so we don't cause any damage to the tree. This is going to have a heavy duty stitching here at our connection point and also doubled over here on the end to offer a superior strength and also abrasion resistance. Now this strap is rated for 7500lbs working load limit and a 15000lbs break strength.

good to put around smaller trees. Not long enough for bigger trees. But is nice and wide.
Product seems well made, works well with my tow hooks on the front of my 2013 dodge truck. the opening is too small for chain or hook without scratching everything. This product is just what I need.
It was difficult to find a 4" x 6' looped strap. Most were 2". We are in the process of installing (planting) 500 - 700 trees in our city & we really needed the 4" strap for the strength over a 2" strap. This should supplement the (2) 4" x 20' straps that we will be using.

I can only say that this tow strap turned out to be a real workhorse. We used this strap over
use this (and Dutton-Lainson worm gear winch with 18V drill) to 'winch in' to storage, our lightweight travel trailer up a slight incline. solid, just like the winch, cable & WDH that we purchased from etrailer.com in the past 18 mos.

Just starting to use...as a strap around a tree to hold up one end of a hammock. Looks good. The outdoor durability will be key. UV resistant?

Still working. I have really enjoyed using this product, and you can’t tell where it was placed on the tree when the job was finished. Good product!!!
