Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Replacement 12-volt Single Speed Electric Winch with the in-cab switch for your SnowBear Personal and UTV Snowplows. It does include everything I laid out here on the table. It includes the winch assembly, the control box and the mount for it, the mounting hardware to install it, the wiring harness, which we have plugged in here, the plug-in toggle switch and a nice operator's manual to describe how this all goes together and how it operates.Now, this will replace the electric winch and the in-cab switch on your SnowBear snowplow. It raises and lowers your plow with ease, provides a nice, smooth, and consistent movement. It is designed to fit the SnowBear personal snowplows part number SB324-080, SB324-081 and the SB324-082.
Also, the UTV Snowplows SB324-108 and SB324-110. All of those snowplows, we do sell separately on our website. Now, as you can see, this wind chair does include the strap and you can see we've connected major connections right here, positive and negative. And this runs to the control box. Control box has your battery connections right here.
What's nice about it, you can always unplug it just like that. The winch can unplug from the control box. Then you just plug it back in to make your connection. Your in-and-out toggle switch, that'll just plug in. You just line your slot up there, plug it in and now you can operate it.
And then again, if you're not operating it, you can just remove the switch, put your cover back on there, just like that.Now the toggle switch. This allows you to control the plow from the comfort of your vehicle. A few specs on this, the maximum line pull is 600 pounds. The wind strap we mentioned, dimension on it is 29 1/2 inches long. One in five eights inches wide, maximum load strength of break strength is 2000 pounds.
The winch dimensions, we get a tape measure out here. The length of it is right at 10 1/2 inches. The width, the widest point is four inches and the overall height from the very bottom to the top is right at five inches tall and the weight on the winch is only about 13 pounds. You wanted to know about the Snow Bear Snow Plow. The original motor gave up. Then I ordered a new one part # S8263&282 and a kit for $xxx.xx. When I got the new kit, it was a lot stronger Winch. I had to long gate the holes in the bracket where the old motor was mounted to get the new one to work. That is the only thing I had to do and the kit I got was very easy to install. I have not had any trouble with it since. I hope it will go a few more years for me. But now I know where to get parts when I need them.

The motor and controls worked perfect. I did have to make some custom modification to the mounting plate. The plate I bought as recommended, didn’t work.

Since the snow plow is an older model it did not come with the cross member so you do need the cross member to attach the plow to the truck part # SB324-060. If the electric winch and components need to be replaced on the SNB-SB200 you need part # SB263-282.
