Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a quick look at the AceCamp Mesa Sleeping Bag. This is designed to keep you nice and warm and also keep you insulated from the ground. It has a couple of nice features that I'm going to show to you that I like about it. Up at the top, we're going to have this extended piece. This is kind of the pillow pad.

It's there to provide a little bit more cushion and also to just extend the bag out so you don't have any gap between the pad and your bags so there's not that gap where you would meet the ground, especially nice if you're going to be gone bare ground, but it just kind of helps to keep you a little bit more insulated. It also does have a drawstring up here at the top, so you can close that in around you and keep it a little bit more warm, help to keep the heat as much as possible in the bag, rather than escaping into the night.This is rated for 30 degrees Fahrenheit. You want to make sure that the lows wherever you're going to be camping are going to be a bit above that. You want this to be warmer than you need it to be. That way, if you happen to get too hot, you can always open it up, let a little bit of that air out.

But if you get too cold, there's not really much you can do. So, always make sure that the lows are going to be a bit warmer, maybe about in the forties or something like that.The zipper is going to be double-sided or is double-sided, so you can operate that from inside or outside. Just swings around to give you the option for either one. If we open it up, you can see the material a little bit better. Of course, they made it pink because this is intended for women.

Very original. On the inside, we'll have this pocket. So, you can stash any kind of smaller accessories, maybe a cell phone or an MP3 player or something that you have, a small book, notebook. So, you can keep that accessory close at hand in the night.It is a polyester material, so it's pretty comfortable on your skin. The outside shell is made of 210T embossed polyester.

So, it should keep you nice and insulated. Again, that zipper, just to show you again, it does flip around from outside to inside pretty easily, so you don't have to reach your hand out into the cold to zip it up. This is a hybrid style, so it fits tapered at the feet and then opens up wider at the head.That's going to be a warmer design than your typical or traditional rectangle style, but it's not quite as confining as a mummy style, which has really tapered. So, it's kind of a hybrid in between the two, hence the name. Last feature that I like about this is that it does have the cords at the end, so you can cinch this up really tight. Kind of a good and bad thing about that is that you can cinch it down nice and tight, but they also can be kind of a tripping hazard in the campsite. So, if you're going to be in a tent, it doesn't really matter too much, but if you're going to be outside, it can maybe be a little bit cumbersome. So, it's pretty easy. I'm going to show you how easy it is to fold this back up and cinch it down.The color is kind of like a purple-y pink, which some folks may like. I personally think that just because it's a women's bag, it doesn't have to be pink. We can take our cords on either side here and just buckle that closed. And then if you want, you can always cinch it down a bit more to really compress it and make it as small as possible. So, flip this the other way and take this guy around and then we can cinch it up. It does also come with a little covering sock to keep it nice and clean, so you can stash that in there and keep everything nice and tight. So, that's pretty much it as far as the sleeping bag goes. We have several different liners.The nice thing about those is that it makes it easier to extend the life of your sleeping bag, because that way you don't have to actually wash the bag so much as you just wash that liner, which is often a lot easier to do than having to wash one of these sleeping bags.
