This semi-custom SportRack roof rack easily installs on your vehicle's bare roof so you can carry extra cargo to your next destination. Adjustable, rotating footpads combine with an easy-to-use numbering system to make the rack conform to your roof for a good fit.

A unique numbering system is inscribed on the crossbars to aid in installation. This system corresponds to numbers noted in the easy-to-read application guide. First, find the number indicated for your car, and then slide the roof-rack feet along the crossbars until they line up with the appropriate number for your application. Tighten the feet in place with the included Allen wrench.

Refer to the application guide to find specific measurements that allow you to properly position the rack on your roof. To begin installing the roof rack on your vehicle, open the passenger's- and driver's-side doors. Place the front crossbar first, and make sure that the screws that hold the clamps in the roof-rack feet are loose before positioning the feet on your roof.

Before attaching the clamps to the door jambs and tightening them down, you need to make sure that the feet and pads are oriented correctly. The bottom of each foot can be rotated to better fit the slope of your roof. Make sure that the feet are sitting flush against the roof.

Once the feet are properly positioned, attach the clamps to the door jambs and tighten via the screws in the feet. After the front crossbar is positioned, review the instructions for the measurements needed to place the rear crossbar and repeat the same process for that crossbar.

Once everything is tightened down, place the locking covers over the feet to deter theft of the rack.

The bars fit very well with my 2004 chevy cavalier. I have had plenty of weight on the bars and they do not budge. These cross bars are very easy to install. They dont add any additional wind noise to my vehicle until i hit 75, and when they do start to make noise its nothing the radio cant tune out. I am very happy with my purchase.

2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I was looking for a high quality roof rack for a naked roof. After much research I ended up with the SportRack #SR1005 with square steel crossbars. The rack fits well, the bars do not bend under weight of my canoe. Very solid, went fishing today!

by:

Great product would recommend to anyone with a car that still wants to do suv truck things. I put my kayak rack right onto it with no issues easy to install and I was fishing the same day.expected delivery date still had 2 more days when it came early and in great condition. I was emailed with updates and got the feeling this company really cares about its customers. Thanks again for a great roof rack.

by:

Great racks for the price. Super solid, they don't budge. I strapped a bike rack to them and drove it across the country and back this summer with my Trek up there so I trust them 100%. Just be sure not to over sucure them because you could put some dents in your roof

by:

Took me an hour to install everything. Very simple. Instructions could be more clear but I understood the gist of it.

Great product.

The box was torn open and beat up. The rack has been mounted and sent back for sure. I'm missing the two sticker scratch pads that go under the mount. On a positive note it does fit on my car and works.

I am sorry you are missing those stick scratch pads. We do open boxes for our demo team to make content such as our product reviews. I have already sent your information to our customer service team and they will be getting in touch with you about this.

I've had these roof racks for over a year and I am very pleased with them. They are a great value and provide great function for the price. I wouldn't put anything heavy on them but they work great for light duty like surfboards. The only issue I had was with the install. The directions didn't specify that the angle of the bracket could be manually adjusted but after someone at etrailer helped me figure this out they went on pretty snug. You just have play with it a little.

I have an Interstate enclosed trailer with fender marker lights that was in need of replacement lenses. I could not find the lights or lenses locally. I found them at etrailer for a very affordable price. The delivery was quick.
Thanks

A company that had completely dropped the ball was not willing to accommodate me due to their mishap and Mike at etrailer completely saved my day and a kayaking trip that this order effected! I had placed an order with a company on June 24th and the product was to arrive at my house on July 6th. Knowing this is a holiday weekend the company 7 days after the order had been placed and confirmed called me to tell me that even though I followed exact directions, their website guided me to buy a roof rack that would not fit my car and would be completely useless to me. However instead of providing the excellent customer service they should have and sent the correct rack after RECONFIRMING the information I provided in my order of my make, model and year of my car...they told me they would have to replace the order with the correct part, it would not get here by the date originally promised AND they couldnt give me a date in which it would arrive, plus if they expedited the order they would NOT waive the extra fee ($80+) even though it was their fault for a faulty website with inaccurate information as well as waiting until 5 days before promised delivery date to notify the customer!!! Mike not only provided great customer service, he beat the price the competitor was selling the same product for, he also made sure it would be delivered on my previous delivery date with no extra cost which not only saved me money and stress he saved the kayaking trip that I need this roof rack for that had been scheduled according to the first companies delivery date!!! :- Overall Mike made my experience with etrailer.com a GREAT one and one I will share with others and continue working with your company in the future.

This product has been working well for me, for over a year. It's been on top of my truck the entire time. Easy to install.

I had older Thule crossbars and ended up using those in exchange for the ones that came with it. The Thule bars fit really well. Not an exact match but almost perfect. Was a lot cheaper than buying new Thule towers and I have extra cross bars if needed.

by:

The roof rack that I received will be used to carry my kayaks. I wish the bars were a little longer than the ones that come with the kit. I originally ordered the wrong system. The product description was a little confusing to me. I called Crystal and she ordered the correct item for my truck. I probably should have called for info in the first place. She did an excellent job in helping me with her knowledge and return process of the incorrect item.

by:

These racks are top quality! They are probably the best racks I have ever bought.

Two concerns:

1 The feet with the rubber pads do not swivel so when I installed them per the directions [very detailed, specific to the model] they didn't sit fully on the roof, which caused excess pressure where they did sit. Compromise setting made them usable.

2 They are plastic coated for weather resistance, but this makes the load quite slippery, which means more effort is needed to secure the load.

by:
2003 Chevrolet Cavalier

The sport rack I received was easy to install and well designed and manufactured especially that the hold down clamps fit so well in the door jams. Also, the instructions were clearly annotated. And I like the price...very reasonable for a quality product! I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a quality and economically priced surfboard carrier rack.

2016 Toyota Camry

My wife and I use ladders a lot in our work.
Lately
we have needed to use our 2000 Camry for carrying a 16 ft. extension ladder
and a 6 ft. step ladder for our work. Hence the need for a sports rack.
This rack is very logical in how it comes together. directions are good and dimensions are shown in inches and metric. Cool! Price on this unit is very good also.
The one thing that kept this from being a 5 star review is the racks generate a lot of wind noise above 50 miles an hour (with nothing on them).

2005 Chevrolet Colorado

Racks were delivered a day ahead of schedule. We attached to the roof of my husbands 2005 Chevy Colorado crew cab. Had to make adjustments in the number measurment on the bar of the rack. We also could not attach the rack as far forward on the roof because it was too far forward for our kayak racks to go on level. We will be using the rack this weekend to haul our kayaks. We'll know better on the fit after transporting them. They were very easy to install.

by:
2000 Dodge Intrepid

The rack work very well for me. It was easy to mount and dismount and was secure on the car.

by:
2001 Toyota Camry

Great product especially for the price, fits well on my '01 Camry and is very stable when my bike and snowboard are mounted to it. Also reasonably easy to install without modifying or damaging my roof or doors.

by:
2011 Chevrolet Colorado

Has held up well. Good quality, easy to install. The only thing that could be better is if the actual bars were a little more heavy. But have had no problems even though hauling large ladders across them in conjuction with a steel rack on back of pickup.
Would recommend, especially looks nice, stays on well, and has been doing what I wanted it too.

by:

It's definitely on the cheaper end of roof racks but it works a treat.

***PROS***
pretty easy to set up
attractive
holds up a decent amount of weight

***CONS***
pretty loud

by:
2001 Toyota Tacoma

I was impressed with the quick shipping of this product, however I was not impressed with the fit to my 01 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab. The rubber foot pads didn't sit flush on my roof like I was expecting. This product also adds excess cab noise which could be overlooked depending on the need.

by:
1999 Toyota Tacoma

Bought it for my 99 tacoma. It fits but doors have a little issue closing good. Wondering if anybody had that same issue. Other then that it does the job. I got it to work. Had to slide bar more towards the front of truck.

by:
2000 Nissan Altima

This rack has been on my car for a year, in that time I have had to re-tighten the feet once... I have recommended this rack to several friends...

by:

Product arrived in excellent shape, easy to install. The clips hold tightly to the car, and the feet are wide and support the weight very well, minimum marking on the roof of the car. Excellent product, very good value for the money.

by:

Roof Rack is a sturdy product, extremely easy to install. It also should be easy to remove and reinstall if necessary. I should have bought one a long time ago!

Service from etrailer.com was amazing. I ordered in the morning and had the product the next day!
