Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Recommendation for a 2013 Mazda 3
Question:
THE ROOF HAS MOUNT POINTS BUT I WANT TO TAKE THE RACK OFF BETWEEN KAYAK TRIPS. WILL THE SPORTRACK FIT PROPERLY, THE KAYAK IS FAIRLY LIGHT, 45 LBS AT MOST.

There is a SportRack roof rack that will fit your 2013 Mazda 3 hatchback, but the SportRack Frontier Semi-Custom Roof Rack for Naked Roofs # SR1005 that you referenced is not confirmed to fit your vehicle so I would not recommend it for you.
You would want a SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack for Naked Roofs # SR1010 as this rack is confirmed to fit your vehicle.
For a kayak carrier you might also be interested in a SportRack J-Stacker Kayak Carrier # ABR511. This carrier will work on the # SR1010 and can handle up to 75 lbs. I attached a review video for this carrier for you to check out.
You will want to check your owners manual to determine the weight capacity of your roof and be sure not to exceed this figure with the weight of your roof rack accessories and cargo.
