Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this B and B Black RV Power Vent Wastewater Tank Vent. Now this exterior RV vent system is going to let air escape without allowing infiltration by bugs or rodents. This base mount and cover is going to make up the two piece vent system, as you see there. And the required cutout is one and three quarters inches, and it does require a flex hose line from your tank to the vent location. And your hose will connect to the screen filtered base here, just like a water plate.
Now this cover, as you saw before, will just slide over the top and it's going to be caulked in place. And this does include everything that you see here. You're going to get the base, you're gonna get the cover. You're going to also get the Oetiker hook hose clamp, butyl tape and the screws there. If you notice, the screws do have black paint over the heads there, so it will match in with that base when you have it mounted into place.
So that's a nice touch and let me go ahead and give you some overall measurements just so you can be confident this is going to work for you. So looking at the diameter of our plate, as you can see, we're sitting right at three inches and looking at the depth there, we're pretty close to an inch and a half. And then looking at our cover, we're sitting a little over three inches. I would say probably about three, about three and a quarter inches or so. And looks like it's gonna be about the same for the height as well, about three and a quarter inches.
So again, just to kind of give you an idea of the size. This is going to be a three hole screw pattern on the base. It is made here in the USA of UV-stabilized plastic. Very durable, very strong, very long lasting. It's gonna hold up well against the elements that it's gonna be constantly exposed to.
