This bathtub will replace your old, cracking tub so you can take a relaxing soak after a fun day of hiking and swimming. You can put bars of soap or shampoo bottles on the 2 built-in soap dishes along the flat, outer ledge and be able to grab them quickly while you're bathing. When those suds do drain into the tub, the textured floor will help prevent you from slipping and falling as you step in and out, and the 3-sided tile flange will help prevent water from being splashed behind the tub and causing water damage to the wall.
This bathtub easily replaces or upgrades your existing RV tub or shower pan with a right-hand side drain hole setup. Brackets and a floor flange are included, but mounting hardware is not included. After the floor or pedestal has been cleaned of debris, set the bathtub in place, making sure the pre-installed foam base is sitting securely and evenly. This foam base supports the bathtub so it won't crack over time, and it'll dampen the sound of the tub filling up with water. Once the bathtub has been installed, it is compatible with any standard 2" drain strainers.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Better Bath almond RV bathtub with right-hand drain. Now, if you're looking to replace or upgrade the tub in the bathroom of your RV or camper, this might be a good tub for you to consider. This tub is going to fit your right-hand drain hole setups. And I'm going to give this a little bit of a tip here to show you that this also includes, at the base here, a 3 3/4 inch thick foam base that's going to provide support to prevent this tub from cracking.
But it's also going to dampen the sound of this tub filling with water and if you're taking a shower in this and you happen to drop like a bar of soap or something like that, that foam base is also going to dampen that sound. So, about 3 3/4 inches thick and that's gonna be a really good support for this tub. Now, taking a look at the side here and trying to look down into this tub, I wanna talk about this textured anti-slip floor that's in this RV bathtub. It's going to give you better traction, reducing the chance of you falling down either when you're showering or trying to get in and out of this tub. And just running my fingernails over this, it's not overly rough, or sharp, or gritty.
It feels like it's going to be just enough texture to give you traction that you're gonna feel confident standing in this tub, especially when the floor is wet. So, when you're taking a shower or getting in and out, I think this is going to make you feel confident standing here and moving around in here with your bare feet. This also features two built-in soap dishes that's going to hold your bars of soap or bottles of shampoo, so you can quickly grab them. The ventilation ridges that you see there are going to allow water and the suds to drain back into the tub. Hopefully, prolonging the life of your bars of soap.
Now, this is made here in the USA of durable, scratch resistant ABS thermoplastic polymer construction. And this has an almond color to it and it's similar to some of the parchment colors of tubs that we carry as well. The best that I could describe it is more of a goldish beige color, kind of a light tan. So, I know that the color doesn't probably accurately come across over the camera. But because of the thermoplastic polymer construction, this is going to be lighter and more environmentally friendly than fiberglass.
This is going to be an easy bolt-on installation. And just walking around here, I do wanna show you that this does include brackets here that we have in a little package here. And these brackets are going to be included along with this floor flange, but it does not include any installation hardware. So, if you do not have the compatible hardware, that would be a separate purchase for you. And you're also going to get a sheet of instructions here that I have at the bottom of the tub here to help you through and walk you through the installation process. This is QAI certified. And while we're here, let me just give you some overall dimensions so you can be confident that this is going to work for you. So beginning, I'm gonna give you some exterior dimensions here with my tape measure and I realize you probably won't be able to see this tape measure, but just laying it across, measuring the external length, we are sitting right at 54 inches long on that external length. And then looking at our width, again, our external width, let's see if I can reach over there, we're sitting right at about, pretty close to 27 inches. Maybe 26 3/4 inches wide, 27 inches wide right around there. And then I measured the external depth earlier before our time together. Measuring from the base that it's sitting on all the way to the top of the tub here to where the top of the flanges are, we are sitting right at about 17 inches deep externally. Now, the interior dimensions we we're sitting right at about 49 inches long on that interior length. And then on the interior width, we we're sitting close to 22 inches. Maybe 21 3/4 inches wide. And then the overall depth from the floor of our tub to where this begins to flare out, about 11 3/4 inches deep. Now, the drain hole diameter, and I realize from that angle, you probably can't see it too well. That drain hole diameter is two inches in diameter. And some other measurements that might prove helpful for you, the distance from the center of our drain hole to our closest edge, I measured that earlier as well. We're sitting at about 7 1/2 inches. And then again, from the center of our drain hole to our farthest edge, we we're sitting at about 46 inches. So again, this is for a right drain hole setup. And if everything with this tub matches the specifications that you're looking for but you're looking for a left drain hole setup, we do carry that here at etrailer as well. I added foam under the edges to support it better. Rip off!..The etrailer service was excellent as was shipping
Just out of warranty and my bathtub has cracked along a seem. The foam is supported well and we even added some support to it.
Not sure if I can get it replaced or not but sure would be nice. Apparently it's been this way for a while. We kept finding water in the bathroom floor. We assumed it was from the shower curtain.
Hopefully we don't have to much wood damage.
We use it daily and it is working just fine. We did build supports to put underneath it because the bottom is malleable. The one big drawback in day to day living with the tub is that it is harder to keep pristinely clean- hence the four stars. The texture or type of plastic that it is made of seems to hold on to the grime pretty good. But there are no cracks or dents or leaks and holds water very well. I would purchase it again.

First to start off took two months to get the first one ,came in damaged then one more week to get a new one. Camping world has same tub for 114.00 chunk less but where out of them when i checked, etrailer showed they had them only to find out they did not. These tubs are paper thin and light weight a far cry from the one i had original in the holiday rambler, I spent a lot of time building a box and filling around it with foam to support the edges so a heel would not go through if stepped on the edge, still worried about the small area around the drain that is not supported due to the plumbing, poor communication of etrailer part about the delay.
The product is exactly what we expected/needed. However, what is more impressive to me is the customer service we received from etrailer. Our first order was lost in transit. I emailed etrailer asking for an update, and George J was extremely quick to respond with a couple options - refund or replace. We needed the tub as we're gutting our camper, so we chose a replacement. That item was shipped immediately, and here within days. This isn't the first great experience we've had with etrailer, either. My husband raves about their customer service all the time. We will continue to buy through etrailer as long as we have a camper to fix.
I don't have an RV. I installed this smaller size tub in a very small bathroom in a cabin I own. I used galvanized metal as the shower surround. I stabilized the tub on the floor with canned spray foam and a little framing. It is still working very well as a small shower a year later. Has been used on a daily basis. It is the size I needed for my space. It is light weight but appears durable. Installation was easy. Would recommend.
The tub is great. Easy install. My high star review is for the company itself. I ordered a tub from another supplier; after 3 months, I cancelled the order because I hadn't received it. It took another 3 months to get a refund.
As soon as I cancelled the first one, I ordered from etrailer.com. The tub was perfect, the order was delivered within a week (more like 3 days) and etrailer.com followed up with an email to make sure everything was good.

ETrailer staff has been responsive and helpful. We are restoring a 69 Red Dale trailer and are replacing most everything. The quality of parts matches the description. Packaging for delivery survived the delivery process. Pricing was better than most online and definitely better than local pricing so was worth the wait (1-2 weeks). Overall, I'm very pleased and will be using ETrailer again for our camper parts needs.

I had a bisque tub and white surround before. All white is so nice. We did measure short and the plumbing had to be redone but it all worked out. Very nice tub.

The product was slightly larger than the original tub with the same dimensions so I had to do a little re-framing to make it fit. It turned out great with the shower wallboard I got from the local hardware store.
