Repeat this process for the remaining pads. Installation is permanent, so once you have the SnapPads secured, you'll never have to worry about crawling under your RV to place pads again.

Video Transcript for Review of SnapPad RV Jack Pads - HiWay 8 Bus Jack Pads 8 Inch And 11-1/2 Inch Jack Foot - SP34FR74

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at the SnapPad HiWay 8 bus jack pads. These four heavy duty rubber pads are going to snap onto your Class A motorhomes with HWH or valid leveling systems with two eight-inch in diameter and two 11.5-inch in diameter jack feet to help make leveling faster and easier, eliminating the need to crawl under your motorhome to position plastic pads or wood blocks. Now, I do wanna tell you that it is a good idea to measure your jacks to confirm compatibility as the foot size or shape of the jacks on your leveling system can vary from model to model and year to year. Now, lemme go ahead and give you some overall measurements of these pads, beginning with this pad here that is designed for your eight-inch foot. So looking at the overall diameter of this pad, as you can see, we're sitting right at 10 inches in diameter.

And then the height, we're sitting at two inches tall. And then this larger pad, let me get my tape measure here, looking at the diameter and then this pad's going to be for your 11.5 inch foot. So looking at the diameter, we're sitting right at 13 7/8 inches on the diameter. And laying this back down here, looking at the height, we are sitting right at 2 1/4 inches tall. So the increased surface area of your leveling jack's feet is going to give you added support for your trailer, your motorhome, preventing sinking into soft ground.

Unlike smaller metal feet, these pads are made here in the USA of durable, heavy duty rubber that are actually made from recycled tires. So these are going to grip uneven terrain and prevent your metal feet from rusting or bending. The built-in drains release moisture to prevent your jack feet from rusting or corroding, and they're also going to serve as a cushion so your metal feet won't crack or chip away at your driveway, and they're going to help dampen vibration from inside of your motorhome that could cause shifting. There's not going to be any need to remove or replace these pads or carry other jack pads or blocks around with you. Now, these are going to be a simple one-time installation.

You're just going to line up the pads beneath your jack feet and lower each foot until the lip on the pad fully engages and locks into place. You're actually going to hear a snapping sound once the pad is securely installed. Then insulation will be permanent, so once you have the SnapPad secured, you're never going to have to worry about crawling under your motorhome again to place pads. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.

Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

This is my third set of these (for three different motorhomes over the last six years). I am VERY pleased with them in every regard.

The opinion expressed in my original review remains the same.

Hope the damn things don’t fall off running down the road that’s the only thing that scares me. The real test will be on I 40 from Kingman to Needles California if something don’t fall off your vehicle then it’ll probably stay on there for good. As far as etrailer phenomenal service…….

These SnapPads are not known to fall off easily. One of the only ways these will fall is if the feet of your jacks are concave and pushing the SnapPads off.

I have VERY mixed feelings about the product. I purchased it for a 2019 Allegro Bus and ordered the set that SnapPad recommends. As it turns out, the rear pads drag on the tires and produce that burnt rubber smell. When I called SnapPad they said I should have checked the clearance needed. They would do nothing for me and I was stuck with modifying the product or throwing them away.

Unless you are prepared to modify the pads to provide proper clearance, save your money!

Very quick delivery to my home, and the pads are on the RV already. Easy to put on. The suggestion was to put some liquid soap on the edges and the jacks slide in very quickly and easily. Worked great! eTrailer was very helpful with finding the right group of pads for this new RV. Thank You.

The rear pads on our 41 foot Class A would not stay on. The 11.5 jack pad might have not been exact for the pads I ordered. Even the right front would not stay on either. After a visit to HWH to get a jack replaced, they do not recommend pads as the weight reduces the retracting spring capability. I had no problems at all with a previous 39 Class A which were also purchased from eTrailer. However, eTrailer is always the best place, by far, to purchase those products they sell.

I ordered pads for my Tiffin Alegro Bus IP40. I liked how they work on the ground but the rears with the jacks retracted static on the concrete have enough clearance but traveling not so much. The tires got into the pads and tore them up. I removed them as I see a safety problem.

You mentioned that the tires touched the rear pads. I had a question that I wanted to ask. I know that the you will want to have at least 2 inches of full clearance to the sides of the of the fully retracted foot and at least 0.75 inches from the top of the edge of the foot and above. Do you have this much clearance there or is it less?

I may be wrong, but I believe when I purchased these there was no mention of 2” of clearance or any dimensional callout, just that there be some. I also ordered them specific to my model of coach. With the pads mounted, as they are hexagonal in shape, I installed them with the flat oriented for maximum clearance, approx. 2”. As I traveled the pads rotated slowly and that is where the problem occurred as the point of the hex got into the tires. Not too happy to say the least. If I hadn’t noticed, they would have eventually come off. The potential for them hitting another vehicle is great and that would not be good as well as possible damage to my vehicle. I have spent my money and have done a little R&D for you folks. With that said I would not recommend these for this coach unless you have an option.

E trailer always comes through! I had a problem installing one of the pads, contacted etrailer and within hours a replacement was on its way. I will continue to shop here whenever I can. Thank you fo such a quick response to my problem!!!

This is an excellent product that provides a strong footing for your jacks protecting both the ground and your pad. These were easy to mount and because they stay on my Jack pads I do not have to reach down under the camper any more to retrieve wooden blocks.

I haven't installed them yet, but I am very impressed by the ordering process, the updates, and follow up by etrailer.

They are great. we have noticed a decrease in the amount of rocking when walking around in the coach.

    by:

    So far great

    by:

Much more stable on all surfaces than the factory pad and so much easier than trying to line up the lego blocks. My Class A front jacks extend at an angle so guessing the right spot to place pads is hard enough as it is.

    by:

We have be traveling for 3 months with many opportunities to put the jacks down...they work great.

    by:

They work very well. Stabilizes our 45’ motorhome, even on dirt or gravel parking spots.

    by:

Great fit and SO EASY to install. Heavy duty and there is a reason they call the SNAPads great snap when they lock in. Installed in a few minutes. no need to carry jack pads around anymore!!

    by:

Outstanding product especially for wet or soft ground pads.

    by:

This is just what I was looking for. The company was very quick getting the pads together and sending them out to me. The tracking of the package was great and right on with staying informed. In today’s world it was fast!

Great, i have enjoyed them very much. We no longer have to put pads down before leveling, and all the sounds that accrued popping, sounds of shifting have gone away. It makes for faster setup and pickup to move!
