Or perhaps you want to brighten the area under your camper's awning for those warm summer nights barbecuing outside? This utility light has cool white LEDs that give you bright light inside your trailer, outside your RV, and by a workbench.
LEDs are more energy efficient, last longer, and burn brighter than lights with incandescent bulbs. You won't have to worry about replacing bulbs that have brittle filaments. And because LEDs draw minimal power, the light won't drain your battery, overload your circuits, or produce too much heat.
Surface-Mount, Bolt-On Installation
This surface-mount light replaces an existing light or adds a new light for your RV, camper, or enclosed trailer or truck. To access the bolt holes, snap the lens off from the housing. Do not use any tools to remove the lens, as it will crack. Then, using hardware (not included), bolt the light down onto the side of your RV or trailer before re-installing the lens. The light has a 2-wire design that hooks up to a 9-volt battery (not included). Then once you're finished, you can then turn the light on and off using the integrated toggle switch or wire it to a light switch.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a LED interior light. Now, this is a battery operated light. It requires one 9-volt battery, which is not included. His white dome light provides bright light for your trailers interior. It features long-lasting LEDs, and LEDs are great replacements for incandescent lights.What I want to do is I got power running to it, so I'm going to go ahead and turn it on. Then we'll turn off our overhead light so you can see it in a low light setting.
It does have the on and off switch, located right here. That's easy to access and easy to operate. You can see here that the unit sends out a nice, clear, consistent signal. It's got white LEDs in there and the clear lens allows plenty of light to come through.LEDs also have a very fast response time, meaning that it doesn't take long from the time you hit the button for the light to actually appear. It's instantaneous.
Really nice design that's another upgrade, like if you're comparing this to incandescent lights, LEDs have a much faster response time to them. They're long lasting. They burn brighter and they're more efficient. Also, with LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments.So again, it has the on and off switch for simple operation. It is a surface mount design so you have multiple mount holes here on the back.
You gain access to those by removing the lens. This is just a snap on lens, so you can pinch it and then you can easily remove it to gain access to the mount holes. Mounting hardware not included. And again, the does require one 9-volt battery for operation. It plugs into the connection points and sends power to the light.When it comes to the measurements of the unit, edge to edge going this direction, we're looking at about 5 1/2 inches.
Going this direction, we're looking at about 2 7/8 inches. And the overall depth, that's how far it sticks out from the installation surface, that's about 1 7/8 inch deep. Brightness on the unit is 51 lumens, and overall, it's a nice design. Again, clear lens, black plastic base gives it a really nice, clean look. This would be a great light anywhere where you need some extra light. The benefit of it being battery operated is that you don't have to tie it into an electrical system and you don't have to hard wire it into another wiring source.That's going to do it for today's look at the LED interior light.

Junk. This product was designed to use “C” batteries and converted to use a 9 volt battery. You have to force the 9 volt into the space where the “C” battery is suppose to go and that pinches the wiring and then it’s hard to get the clear lens on

Recvd. the battery powered LED light as ordered. Its not super bright, but should help provide more lighting for our bathroom in our travel trailer. It doesn't come with mounting screws, but they are not hard to find at any hardware store. Its powered by a 9 volt battery, (not included), but the two open spaces, on each side of the light are , or were, for a "C" size batteries. I hooked up the 9 Volt battery, pulled the wires through to the front of the light, and pushed the 9 volt battery into one of the old "C" battery slots. Luckily, it just fit in. Otherwise there would be no where to put the battery.
Overall, I'm happy with the purchase!

Not what was expected!! No spot to put the battery into. No way can it hang outside of the hosing. Bouncing around in a trailer??? Come on!! Don’t buy this product.

I really do not like the unit. Over priced for the quality.The battery does not fit extremely tight broke the wire twice trying to install the battery. I had to wire the unit so the battery hookup is outside of unit. Very poor design. I wish I could re rate it now would give it a negative 1

- Recommended Light for RV Storage CompartmentThe LED Utility Light with Switch part # 328-001-504E is my recommendation for a storage compartment light as it is battery powered so you don't have to worry about routing wires to the storage compartment which can be a huge hassle. The battery will also last a long time as the LED's draw very little power so you won't have to worry about changing out the battery frequently. I have contacted command and you are correct they did switch over to 9 volt. They recommend using 9 volt energizer batteries. I did some research and it looks like energizers are taller than other 9 volt batteries.
