Can Valterra RV Water Tank # R8048 Be used Laying Flat
Question:
Id like to install a fresh water tank in the bed of my truck. I like the form factor of this tank, but I would need to lay it down so that it was 8 inches tall. The fittings on this tank dont seem to be in the right place to do that. Can additional fittings be added to the tank? If so, how? Thank you.

The Valterra RV Water Tank # R8048 could be used on it's side in the orientation that would put it at being 8 inches tall. I pointed out two of the fittings that can be used when laying down in this orientation. You'd just need to punch out the cover for the fitting and you'd see the 3/8 inch fitting there.
I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
