Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the pull to open catches for your RV cabinets. These are going to replace the catches that are currently installed on your RV cabinets, to make sure that those cabinet doors are staying shut so that you don't have to worry about them flying open and letting the contents of the cabinet fall out, or just banging open and closed while you're traveling. These are going to work with any style of cabinet. You can see we've got some adjustability here, so that our stems can line up with the hole that is currently in your cabinet, so it is going to work with all cabinet types.We've got our strike plates here that are going to install on your cabinet frame, and then our catches that we'll install on the cabinet door, as well as our breakaway stems. The way these work, you'll install them into your cabinet like that.
And then when it comes out the other side of your door, you'll measure how far, how many threads you need for your knob. And then you can simply break this off at the different intervals there to whatever links that you need. So it's going to be very convenient, it can work with any kind of cabinet, it gives you a lot of adjustability there to make sure that it is going to work well with yours. We also include 12 of these mounting screws to get everything in place, so that you can have two complete cabinet doors with the pull to open catches on them.This does come with a limited lifetime warranty, and I think this is going to be a great option for those of you who are looking to replace these kinds of catches on your cabinet doors to make sure that they are staying closed. Wish this was made out of metal the plastic does not hold up as well as metal.
These door latches are awesome. They lock in such a way there is no way for them to open while going down the road with your trailer.
They look great. I'm so glad they are not like the ones we have on there now because they break so so easy. These that I bought are going to work so much better. Thank you!!!
When they work they are great, but they are difficult to install well. The plastic part tends to break easily.
