  • Simple, One-Time Installation

SnapPads install quickly and easily, and never need to be removed. Install each pad one at a time. Begin by placing the pad beneath your jack, ensuring that the pad and foot are properly aligned.

    SnapPad jack pad installation

Lower the jack until the lip of the pad fully engages around its foot and locks into place. You'll hear a snapping sound once the pad is securely installed. Repeat this process for the remaining pads. Installation is permanent, so once you have the SnapPads secured, you'll never have to worry about crawling under your RV to place pads again.

We love our Jack pads. No more leaving our plywood square at the campsite to get to the next site and we realize we forgot to pick them back up and now have nothing to put down. One thing that might be helpful is the tip to get them to snap on is smear with dish soap. That might have been very helpful if that installation tip was in the box.

    by:

Super easy install and they have definitely made the leveling process easier. Would definitely buy again!

    by:

The snap pads will save time setting up in parks that require you to use pads either on concrete or asphalt. Easy to install and look great.

    by:

Purchased snap pads for my ‘11 Tiffin Open Road. Super easy install!
Shipping question was handled quite efficiently iently with great email communication.

    by:

3 of 4 snap pads fit as designed. One, for whatever reason didn't fit and left on in hopes that the pressure of using it would force it on -- it didn't and was lost. So, only have 3 out of 4 in use

    by:

The snap pads work great. Saves time during set up and they stay in place during travel.

    by:

These pads are great. No need to crawl under and put anything under your jacks. When you move, just raise and go. Have never had a problem with them falling off. Have had them on three different motorhomes.

    by:

The SnapPads were delivered on time, keeping the etrailer tradition of quick delivery. The quality is everything the manufacturer says it is. They're very easy to install. These should last for many years and many trails.

Great. Some campgrounds even require some sort of pad, so I dont have to worry because mine are installed once and for all. No more 4X4 blocks. Makes it so much easier.

Bought (4) 8" round SnapPads for my 2021 Tiffon Allegro Open Road 36LA HWH leveling system. Front pads seem loose as you could spin them after they snapped in place. Rear SnapPads are snug. Hopefully, the Front SnapPads don't fall off.

One of snap pads on the front of my rig fell off.

    Etrailer Expert

    Heather A.

    5/24/2023

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that Ronald. There are a few reasons that the snap pads are known to fall off the rig. Sometimes there isn't enough clearance around the pad or from the ground. It is recommended to have at least 2 inches of clearance around the fully retracted foot so that the pad doesn't get knocked off. It also recommended to have at least 6 full inches of ground clearance between the foot and the ground before even adding the pad. You also want to make sure that the feet on the landing gear is not starting to dish out because eventually that will force the pad to fall off. This dishing or bending occurs as the weight of the RV pushes down on the center of that foot. This can happen more often where there is a slide out. If that is the case, the feet on the landing gear will need to replaced to use the pads.

    • How to Put on SnapPad Jack Stand Pads
The SnapPad Jack Stand Pads for Motorhome # SP34FR4 do in fact just snap on, so your assumption was correct. There is no definitive way to line up the pad other than get it at as close as you can (while staying safe); you are going to have to eyeball it. As for the number, it is best to do them one at a time, yes.
