Today we're going to take a look at this Goal Zero Nomad 5, five-watt portable solar panel USB charger. Now this will keep your devices charged no matter where you are. Has a five-watt monocrystalline solar panel and it is weatherproof. This can be conveniently clipped to backpacks, only weighs about 12.7 ounces. Features a nice kickstand here on the back to support itself in multiple angles to face the sun. To give you optimum solar collection.
And again, the maximum leg angle you can see, goes 180 degrees. The USP output right here is great for charging phones, power banks, and headlamps. This USB output port is five volts up to one amp, five watts maximum. Also, this Nomad 5 solar panel is designed to work with their Goal Zero Flip power banks. It's a very small power bank that you can clip right into place there and plug it in and then allow you to have a power bank attached to this. Now, those are not included, those are sold separately.
The cell type, again on this is a monocrystalline. A few dimensions on this, it's going to be nine and a half inches by seven inches. And the thickness is only about a quarter of an inch thick at the widest point right here where these legs are, is going to be about three quarters of an inch. What I am going to do is I'm going to just show you, here's the USB port.I happen to have my phone here and I brought one of my power cords. So, what I'm going to do is go ahead and plug it in.
And we'll just go ahead and set it up. And then you'll notice when I plug it into my phone and I just got this out of the package so it really hasn't been charged much. But you can see when I plug it in, it pops up to show you it's charging and then it shows you the little lightning bolt over there, that it's charging. It's a very nice, handy charging item. But that should do it for the review on the Goal Zero Nomad 5, five-watt portable solar panel, USB charger..

Keep your devices charged no matter where you are with this 5-watt monocrystalline solar panel. Can be conveniently clipped to backpacks and features a kick-stand to support itself in multiple angles to face the sun.Assembly was very quick and easy. No tools needed.
This trailer is surprisingly light and I couldn't even notice I was pulling it (empty).
The only potential flaw I noticed so far is the trailer (when empty) does tip over when you attempt to lay ur bike down. There is a plastic jobber that should bend to allow it to handle that...
Perhaps it was not broken in yet or it just needs more weight in the trailer. None the less, you should get a kickstand if you do not have one already and plan on using this trailer.
Perfect pair to the goal zero battery I have
