Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Trimax Solid Brass Resettable Combination Padlock. This solid brass resettable combination padlock will help you guard your gear against theft, and this hardened 5/16 of an inch steel shackle is going to protect against bolt cutters, and this solid brass body is corrosion resistant. And as you see, this has a four digit resettable combination, it's gonna be convenient to use with no keys to lose, the only key that comes with this lock is the key to help you reset the combination to a code that would be easy for you to remember. So this does come, the combination does come defaulted to all zero, so currently, I have this set to 0001 to lock this pad lock, but let me go ahead and set this to the combination of all zeros, and then to open this, you're just going to depress the shackle, and then that's going to open very easy for you. Now, to change this to a code that you're going to remember easily, you're gonna take this reset key and insert it into that keyhole, and then you're going to push in rather firmly, and then you can turn in either direction, 90 degrees, and now, it is in set mode is what I call it, so you can go ahead and set the new combination, so I'm gonna set it to something that I can easily remember, 123, and you've guessed it, final digit, four, so my new combination is 1234, and then I'm gonna go ahead and turn that key back, there we go, and remove it, and now, my new combination of 1234 is set. I'm gonna insert the shackle in the lock and just change one of these numbers here, there we go, and now, it is locked.
So let me go ahead and do that one more time, set that back to my combination of 1234, that is going to release the lock, and then I'm going to change my combination by a digit to 0234, and now, it is locked. It's easier to scramble the combination first and then push that shackle in to lock. So set it, my combination of 1234, push it, and that releases it. So that's very simple to use. Now, the inside width of this shackle, probably be easier just to measure it that way, we're sitting right at one inch as you can see, that inside width is one inch, and then the overall width, we're sitting right at two inches overall, line that up there better for you, then the overall height, when this is closed, we're sitting, at the tallest point, right at four inches, probably 4 1/8 inches is better to say.
And this does have a limited lifetime warranty. So this lock feels very solid, very durable, it's easy to set that combination, and I think it's gonna do a great job for you if this meets the specs that you are looking for. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today, I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me..
