Speaker 1: Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at and also showing you how to install the WeatherTech Easy Install No-Drill Mudflaps. This is for the front and rear set. The part number is WT110010-120010. If you just need the front, the part number is WT110010, and for just the rears, the part number would be WT120010.Now these WeatherTech mudflaps are going to offer a very quick easy installation. They're going to give us great protection. From the front they help out a lot with the bottom edge of the vehicle, underneath your door or doors here.
Also, if you have any kind of tube steps or anything like that, these help to prevent rocks and debris from being thrown up nicking those, eventually causing corrosion.Now in the rear, they're designed to give protection for our vehicle of course, but more importantly, anything that we might be hauling, whether it's a camper, a car carrier, a boat, or for that matter just motorists traveling behind us. These are drastically going to reduce the risk that we're going to slinging rocks or debris up where it might hit one of those items.Now to help ensure that our mudflaps last for a very long time, they're constructed of a thermal plastic resin. This is going to help to resist any cracking, any breaking, and also offers some UV resistance. We won't have to worry too much about fading. The thermal plastic resin has also designed with a texture on it that's going to very closely mimic what we typically see with your factory trim.You'll see once installed, the WeatherTech Mudflaps are going to follow right along with the contours of the Silverado, right along the bottom there, give it a really nice clean finished look.Now the installation process is going to be really straightforward.
We're on the passenger side here. We want to start with the one that has the RH on it. It's going to be for the right hand, just like that. In the fender well, we are going to take out the two push pin fasteners located on the bottom. We want to hang onto one of them.
We'll be reusing it. That will be at this location. Just going to use a flat blade screwdriver to get in behind the center section. We want that to come out. If it comes all the way out, that's fine.
Then the larger outer section will pop out as well. Now we're going to use a socket to remove both of these small screws.Now we'll bring our mudflap up. We want to align it with the holes that we just removed the fasteners from. We are going to put the two screws back in. We want to snug these down, but we don't want to tighten them up at this point, so we can get everything in line.Now we'll return the push pin fastener into the hole we removed it from. Now we are going to take our flange nut and the provided bolt, and that will be placed through our inner hole. We're going to thread the flange nut on the back side.Once those are in place, I like to just hold in slightly and we'll secure our fasteners. See, that's nice and secure.Now, in some applications of our mudflaps, we really don't use any hardware on the vehicle, like in the rear area of our wheel well in this application. You'll see on the front side we're going to have the little cap bolt. Now as you turn that, you can see that's going to rotate that. It's actually going to pinch the body metal between the two pieces at two points, getting it nice and secure that way. There's going to be a little catch down here on the bottom in this application.We're going to slide that slot right around the bottom edge of the fender, right here. Will just rotate them right up in position. We will start by just snugging up our clamps. There's a little silver tap right here. It's going to start over here at the unlocked emblem. You want to make sure it finishes all the way over on the other side. If it doesn't, you need to loosen that up a little bit and get it into that position. Those are snug and holding. I just want to give a push in to make sure our mudflap is right up against our fender, and will tighten them down.That will do it for our installation of the WeatherTech Easy Install No-Drill Mudflaps for the front and rear, part number WT110010-120010.

Flaps are constructed of durable thermoplastic resin with stainless steel fasteners.the rear flaps are super easy to install, took about 10 minutes. I bought them for the no drill installation. Price was a lot cheaper than factoy flaps which would have required drilling on the rear flaps. Front flaps took about half an hour to install and do require some alignment fitting but nothing difficult. Overall I'm very pleased.
Very impressed. Solid product better than the GM mud flaps I got for my 2011 1/2 ton. These were so easy to install, done in about 10 min.
They fit my 2011 Chevy 3/4 ton perfect, secure and they look sharp.
I wanted to wait until I had these installed for a few weeks before giving a review. Simply put, they're a fantastic product. There has been no issue of anything coming loose which was the main concern I had with these being a no drill install. No tires had to be removed, and the directions were well written. A useful tip: give yourself plenty of time as the protective film that came with these required the surface be cleaned first and the film should dry so as not to shift around when installing the mud flaps.

1 year later and still fine.
The fit is perfect and the install was relatively easy. The rear mud flaps went on very quickly using the clever locking clamps. The front was a little more challenging due to the design of the fender liner-not the mud flaps. Still, all 4 were installed in less than an hour. I have to mention E-Trailer's shipping box-the handles are a great idea!

What can i say? A year later and they havent loosened at all-still a perfect fit.
Hardware and flaps fit perfectly. Very easy to install, particularly the rear set. Use caution popping out the plastic rivets on your Chevy. Easy to break the head off ... pry slowly and rotate your pry spots around the top of the rivet head to avoid trouble. Total install took less then 20 minutes for all 4 mud flaps on my Chevy 3500 HD. Sized right... no interference with stock tires but big enough to keep plenty of mud off the sides of truck. Very fast shipping.
This was the first time I used you company and a Weather Tech product. Service was great no issues. Did have a issue with the front mud flaps. Instructions were to remove fasterer (plastic grommet and insert) and to reinstall thru mud flap.The insert was the correct length when securing the wheel liner to the front finder, the additional thickness of the mud flap would not let the grommet expand and lock on aft side of fender. I purchased 2 at the correct length at Advance Auto for $ 3.69 + area tax and installation was complete.

These Weather-Tech mud flaps seem to be of a very good quality.

Easy to install and a perfect fit. I received the package short of one quick-turn fastener and called Weathertech for help. They mailed me a replacement bolt and quick-turn fastener with no questions asked. I highly recommend this product. In fact this is my third Weathertech product and not only is the quality super high, but they look really good on the truck!
No drilling was needed and they conform to the vehicle as stated. The screws supplied were indeed stainless steel however the metal bite wing was magnetic so only time will tell how this holds up to salt.

Well made, good fit, installation fairly easy although the instructions weren't the best. The inside of the flaps is not finished well and they don't look very good. It would be nice if they provided a piece to attach after installation to provide a better look.
